(N U K E D) Meet The Fockers DVDRip XViD DMT (.minits.are.missing(you.shouldnt.cut.5.minits.from.the.movie).get.proper)

I guess you could have seen it coming, (late nuke?!?!) they quality was alright, but, might as well go for the 2 cd version rather then cut 5 mins just to fit on 1 cd

The credits ha film... baaah... Nuke this!

Posted by bilal on 03-27-2005 10:26 AM:

but how much does cutting hte last 5 minutes affect the film? are there outtakes, etc during the credits? or did they lop off the end of the actual film too?

i've still got the telecine gathering dust on my xbox hdd that i haven't watched yet (quality's a bit nasty) so i may just get this xvid as it's smaller than the svcd and then just watch the last 5 minutes of the telecine. better yet, i'll go check the last 5 minutes of the telecine now and decide

Cut 5 where? From the credits? I didn't notice anything wrong.

Posted by chessboxer on 03-27-2005 02:02 PM:

IMDB states that the film is 115 mins.

This version is 110mins but I assuming that the cut minutes are the end credits as the last image you can see on the film says "THE END".

Are there still people in this "business" who don't know how to rip a film properly?

According to the divx/xvid release rules, shouldn't this have been on 2cd anyway due to the film length?

cuts about 1 min from credits but the credits include part of the movie where jack is checking his hidden camera footage

so yes its missing part of the actual movie

Posted by Robertus89 on 03-27-2005 05:56 PM:

code:
Credits: - Movie credits are preferred but CAN be cut in order to fit within 1 CD (700 MB) if the movie length would exceed 110 minutes.

according to TDX

oh no the credits are missing. damn that sux i really wanted to know who the grips were........

this release is fine, good quality 1 cd rip.

8/10
9/10
7/10

It's annoying if they cut the credits when there are extra scenes which play out during the credits or even after the credits (like Me, Myself & Irene or countless others).

So if, as is suggested by Meadwodale, some of this extra footage is contained oin the credits of the movie, which has been cut, then I agree that this should be nuked as the twat who ripped the dvd should have done a better job with their bitrate calculations.

Like I said, it's not hard and perfect results should have been obtained with one try.

One more thing, The video looks really bad when played back with the xvid filters.

I would suggest using the DivX 5.2 filters to watch this and other xvid encoded films.

Great release

9/9/9

Nine's all round from me, tbh i dont really care about the credits missing, the quality is good, and there are only a few outakes in the credits, which you wont really miss.

The point is, if you dont like it, dont download it

And dont sit there calling the ripper crap, i would like you to put your arse on the line for others benefit.
