Ok 1st issue is the playing of this dvd on SOME players my pioneer is funny so i had a look at the ifo files with ifoedit and there are a couple of files that need to be fixed to play this title.
After fixing the files the film loads up and plays fine .

Picture quality next i'm using a 42inch rear projection and the picture is fine it may be interlaced but as far as i can tell i cant see no problems except the timecode clock on the top right

Ya the VIDEO_TS.IFO needs to be edited with a program like IFOedit. The first sequence has to be changed to pan&scan and it should start loading up fine in any standalone. Great quality, just a counter in the top right corner but im not complaining
A=9
V=8
M=7

Not a bad release but only works on 1 of my 4 dvd players, could you tell me how you fixed it thanks.

I had no problems with playback, but DAMN is this badly interlaced...

6/8/4

disappointing, naiive and annoying movie. it tries WAY too hard. only (few) laughs come from vince vaughn and the rock.

I'm stuck with these files as well, I've never used Ifo edit, can anybody give me a quick guide on how to get this movie working?

Thanks in advance.

The way I done it was first of all delete the existing ifos and just leave the vob files then open up ifoedit and at the bottom of the screen select create ifos and then under output stream select the first vob and destination as the same as source then press ok and after a few minutes new ifos will have been created. When that has completed select the ifos with ifoedit and press get VTS sectors for each of the 2 ifos. Worked for me anyway.
