-- The Sum Of All Fears *PROPER* - SCREENER - TCF (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=6098)
Yay..only took two days too. Props to TCF, they earned my respect with their screeners, and propers.
is this just TDi's release with one channel cloned to make it stereo? because if it is, it isnt worth the download
Well...it's WELL worth the download in my opinion, props to TCF for the propper release with the fixed audio. Makes it a lot better to watch.
DVD is set to release November 12th. So we'll probably have dvdrip sometime early october unless somebody can't get their hands on it
Overall, this movie isn't worth watching twice if you have seen it already

For those that are d/l this movie and watching it on their computer with computer speakers or watching it on their tv with tv speakers this movie will sound like it has perfect two channel audio (L & R). In my case, I watched this movie on my DVD player running optical wires for sound to my Denon amplifier/receiver and it could distinguish no difference between the two channels and therefore fed all of the sound straight out of the centre channel speaker and auto-detected the movie as being mono (just left sound is usually mono -- as in the case of the TDi release before this). So anyway, turning the auto-detect off and forcing the amp onto Matrix level sound rather than Dolby Pro Logic pseudo-corrected the problem and it began feeding most of the dialogue to the centre and most of the sound effects and music to the left and right spreading the sound across the soundstage.
Short and sweet: IMHO the left channel sound was duped and moved to the right to make the movie sound a little more proper. By playing the movie on my computer and just plugging in a set of headphones I was not able to distinguish at all between the two channels.
So after all that said, thanks to TCF for the release 'cause I did get to thoroughly enjoy the movie. The d/l was definitely worth it.

oops, my bad
the sound is NOT stereo, it is just the mono audio on both L/R speakers
missed the TDi so I cant comment on that or the proper but this is worth the download. Another nice RLS from TCF
good job guys, but i'll wait till the dvdrip comes out
how to remove audio chirps ?????
i just got the sum of all fears and it was a bin cue file, i loaded the image with daemon tools and pulled the .DAT file to my movies folder and just watch the movie with computer to my tv with tv out.
problem is there is alot of half second loud audio chirps accompanied by some video digital noise. the video i can deal with but the loud audio chirps are annoying.
Can someone please tell me how i might be able to remove or reduce the audio chirps ??
thanks
tim
is the fil any good?
may get flamed, just my opinion
I had watched ********'s release of this movie a month or two back and I decied to just get this recently for a friend who's machine can't play svcd movies. Anyways, maybe it's just me but the video is not up to screener quality, it's almost similar to ********s release. Now I'm no cheerleader for any release group but it almost seems that this release isn't all it's cracked up to be, those jpeg samples look quite good, but mislead me as the tcf version I have is no better than ********'s Telesynch. This is just my opinion and by no means am I putting down TCF, as they are doing a great job of releasing screeners for other movies.
That's all
Chris
