Download Speeds
I havnt been getting good speeds latly. I just wanted to find out what sort of internet connection you got
256/64
512/128
1500/256
and what is your download speed?
how long does it tage you (adverage) to download 600mb (adverage film file size)
Depends what country you're in. I'm in the UK and compared to most other UK-ers. I'm doing ok with my 4096/384... Costs a fucking fortune though

rated at 8mbit but they keep doing "line upgrades" generally my downspeed ranges from 600KB/s to 1.25MB/s (gotta love ati's driver downloads). my upstream is a constant 125 KB/s up but if you abuse it too much the isp will slap you with a cap at around 16-17KB/s. service includes usenet access that they outsource to giganews, updates headders around 600-800KB/s and allows 2 threads to download @ around 250KB/s total.
I pay around $50USD a month and am very pleased with my isp ( Optimum Online, ool)
