Man... I was excited about this and I got it... Now I am re-getting the CTP version. 3010 bitrate was too low. At this point, they should have just stuck with theatrical or extended edition, but not both. Probably would have been best (IMO) to do a theatrical release since CTP already did the directors cut.

But definitely stay away from the ThP if you are looking for this movie. Truth is (opinion only), if you are a fan of this movie, and you don't want to spend much on it. Wait a few months and buy it used from Blockbuster.

i view this as not needed. why keep both versions?

how many people really care if its theatrical or unrated? unrated sounds cooler to the ear anyways, if u saw it in theaters why not watch the extra bit. the bitrate is far to low for a lengthy, dark action movie, and i really dont see the chapter selection thing as a problem with ctp's either. if i cared that much id buy the retail, the movie blew nuts anyways.

7 - 3000kb/s ? not good..

10 - perfect, ofcourse

3 - movie sucked more then a cheap hooker.

Replica, i love you. but this proper seems like a lost race/slower supply, and its really not necessary. next...

I enjoy getting both rated/unrated. I have kids, I play them the rated. (But now their getting at the age they can switch it back). But 3000+ is scene standard. Granted, a little low for action flick, but I plan to buy the series soon enough when the box set comes out

Pionts all well made...I just wanna add if you don't have a DTS decoder reciever or whatever at this point....find a new hobby.

Agreed, as i think all receivers now have DTS as well as DD5.1 so if possible i'd rather the DTS track was kept and the DD5.1 removed as long as picture quality didn't suffer.

Couldn't have put it better myself!

CTP version also had pack header errors in the menu vob as well as the way off chapters. Hmmm might try correcting the CTP chapter points from Replica's IFOs. Thanks Replica!
