stupid question...
well after a format and reinstalling all of the apps i usually use, ive noticed that whilst browsing any website, animated .gifs won't play, no matter what, and i could not understand why, im running maxthon as my browser if thats any help, any ideas as to why? thanks for any help.
I'm not at home so I can't check at the moment but I think you can turn off animation so it only downloads the first frame - it's part of the Ad-hunter/Content control doohickey (I think)... Unless you find it first, I'll have a look when I get home.
::EDIT:: Try this...
"Options >> Maxthon Options >> Download >> Play Animation"
(just found that on the Maxthon support forum, if it's still fucked let me know and I WILL have a look when I get home)

yep worked, it wasnt in the tab so i didnt realize you had to open up the actual options dialogue. i guess the newer versions of maxthon have animations turned off by default because i do not remember turning them off. wow... i could have figured that out on my own, thanks for the help and sorry for being such a lazy cunt.
Well, you did register on this site before me so it would be rude to give you some grief just because you're a lazy cunt
Besides, everybody is allowed a "blonde" moment from time to time, at least you can articulate a sentence and tie your fucking shoes!
