-- The Interpreter *SVCD* - TELECINE - TheEnd (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=61733)

Posted by IRC_Moviefan on 04-22-2005 07:58 PM:

Alrighty , i know theres a rule here , "No Making fun of groups" .... but VCDQ modz , this one is too good to pass up!!!!

-TheEnd gets my stupidest release group of the year vote !!!

Why ?

Well for starters this "TELECiNE" of theirs, they shoulda knowen it was from the XviD DVDScr to start with , just major cropped to take out the subs.

Now also they shoulda noticed how pixelated and blocky this copy was ...

This copy is floating around the streets of NYC being sold as a Silver , all it is, is the XviD DVDScr re-encoded (as mentioned) , and cropped to take out the subs.

(Im assuming they got the silver , and werent dumb enough to download it from an xdcc channel and release it)

Now Silver .... since when has a Silver EVER been a TELECiNE ??? ...

So not only did they lable this Silver (which they bought) as a TELECiNE ... TheEnd didnt even take the time to notice the TMD/LMD whatever watermark bottom right of the screen , which came from a public IRC channel or BT.

Nice Scene released TELECiNE -TheEnd

Hope this gives you all a good laugh as it gave me.

well recode of the "dvd screen" cropped to hide subs ar is shite, why bother releasing this ill never no specialy being that what they codded from was nuked.

Posted by eagle1 on 04-22-2005 08:31 PM:

This aint no telecine

Its a XviD DVDScr re-encoded of the MoF - Screener

Already watch this and it is good copy

I really dont care about scene politics of releases....

as for the quality

Okay, let me see if I've got this right:

DVDScr>XviD>TMD>Silver>TheEnd

So it's a re-encode of a re-encode of a re-encode? Gee, and they're probably surprised by the nuke.. lol.

Do the groups even LOOK at what they're doing these days? Some of the things I've seen lately makes me wonder...

Posted by NewbieSnipa on 04-22-2005 08:50 PM:

This group is like the real XPC, way to go!

10/10/1000

Posted by Horton on 04-22-2005 08:59 PM:

Holy hell, how do you miss that? when cutting the sample you obviously must see the video, so they have no excuse for this. the TMD logo is like the ice cream on the cake, and i find it funny at the labeling, too. go correlation for the source w00t..

1/1/x

Die TheEnd - silly reencode group..although they did do the I Robot DVDSCR..hmmm..

1 what is this crap......jesus worst release ive ever seen //TMD they should have gave up ages ago,bad enough there compressed to the max avi/s

Posted by dvddavee on 04-22-2005 09:04 PM:

movie is missing 18 mins from the start, watched this at theatre last weekend & it is definatly missing 18 mins.if you want this (missing the start) get xvid dvdscr correlition

Posted by vip3r on 04-22-2005 09:05 PM:

Long time no post, huh? Well, i hate to stop your laughing and jokes, but, as mentioned in the xvid's nfo..there was a 30 second watermark in the bottom right hand corner, that they had to cover up, so, they chose to cover it up with LMD, not TMD..

We had a 30sec watermark to cover, so excuse the small temp \
\ logo, LMD, Last Mark Done /
\ Has Spanish subs, so live with it

..and trust me, if it said TMD to begin with, they would have covered it up with something different or blurred it out, because we all know TMD is lame. Anyways, i will take this over the xvid..i don't give two shits if it came from fucking India - it has 2 channel audio, subs are cropped out, and the picture isn't bad, oh and wait..it just went into theaters today and it's a dvdscr! So as far as im concerned, you people need to fucking wake up and smell the coffee as this is a plenty good release until retail.

Posted by DTB on 04-22-2005 09:07 PM:

sorry ,my inglish is BAD ,very Bad

TMD? or LMD(p2p web spanish)?

This logo is present in 99% "rls" of LMD(limitedivx)

I'm spanish and i see this logo previously.

I'm usually the first to defend any group who tries but this release has a false beginning, a universal logo to start, a few seconds from the trailer that gives the title and the two stars, then cuts to the a scene way past the beginning (ie they have tried to disguise the missing beggining) Sorry but films missing large chunks of story are of no use to anyone

Actually from what i understand , that was added on by the wonderful people selling the silver in NYC. Just like Sin City DVDR , once a group releases a nice copy online , usually makes its way to the black market with some addons like trailers for SVCD or Custom menu's , added audio/subs for DVDR.

In the end . This came from a Silver , its from the original DVDScr XviD , and its a re-encode .

late april fools boys

i give this release a 100% waste of time ha ha... there is no need to rate it it is already out somewhere else copies dont count thanx for trying!!!!! The end

Posted by HaLiKuS on 04-22-2005 10:26 PM:

It is kinda funny. THERE IS btw a non-subbed 1 cd xvid The.Interpreter.WS.DVDSCR.XviD-MoF. Is this missing the beginning also like every other release?

TMD = The Movie Downsamplers

well, it seems that l33tness is taking over the world it's just funny that such a group (TheEnd) does a shitty re-encode of a re-encode of a re-encode (as Wanderer22 said) : just look at their NFO - it says "the end of the scene is near...blah blah...blah blah..." just like they wrote about themselves
