.torrent files getting lost

high guys

im running a new machine w/ xp pro....when i try and save a .torrent file it winds up in the folder i intend but it wont open....i get a popup saying...."windows cannot find "xxxLOCATION OF SAVED FILExxx"....it then says to do a search and it comes up with the same folder i saved the same file but with the same results....

any ideas?

I've seen similar happening but I didn't find a fix, but I did find a workaround...

... Instead of opening the file directly from your browser, right-click it, save as, then open the local copy.

ive tried saving target as a few times....same results....wierd thing is..the BT original client gets the error but will dl anyway(slow as shit for 6 hours now)..bit tornado will connect but not to anyones ip...but azureus where i used to get the best results just fails to find the file

go to control panel, click on folder options then use file types tab. type in the letter T , scroll untill you see TORR you can then click change and show icon of client you wish to open torrent files . when you then click on a torrent even if it's lost in the temp folder your client will open and start connecting to peers , on the other hand if you want to save the torrent right click on it and choose save you can then put it in your BT-download folder

right click on the torrent.. save to desktop... then try it.
