3 discs for a 119 minute movie (according to imdb) is rediculous

but 3 discs for a 120min movie is ok??
damn, this one minute would mean 2 discs=fucking quality, 3 discs=high bitrate, great quality. i'd rather have the 3 discs. don't care about credits that much, i wanna archive the svcds. and btw, if thc would have relled it you'd all say "ohhh, good decision to make it better quality". get a life loosers.

I agree.. Quality is better for archiving.. but I don't really archive screeners, only true dvd-rips...

But anyway.. it doesn't matter. whats another 12 cents...

TEG-VCD are idiots. The movie is only 110 minutes which SHOULD only be on 2cd's. The bitrate would have been around 1754kbit and that's sufficient enough to maintain good quality at 2-4 pass VBR. These credit gimps shouldn't have even waste our time with this straight to video release.

the whole point about "standards" is that everyone does it. If someone doesn't follow the rules, they should be punished (ie: nuke 2x) .. I think this group needs to learn how to fucking release shit, and stop wasting bandwith and hard drive space.

10/10 just to even the score, anything under 1900kbps is poop, 3 cds was a good choice, w00tw00t for gay teggies everywhere

who cares that it's 3 cd????? The quality is super and the sound is good too. I like svcd.

To anyone that complains about 3 cds, shut the fuck up. Constructive critisism is good, like saying that "I prefere 2 cds", but calling the movie crap because it is 3 cds is fucking stupid. I'd like to see any of you release a movie, then you have the right to judge the movie on things like that, but otherwise, shut up.

Oh and Phucker, ur scoring scale is fucked, first it appears you start at 0 and go up, which isn't the idea of the scale, the whole 3 scales things is stupid, unless everyone else does it, and giving points for fading is a joke. If they did that they are adding/changing the movie, I would rather have the movie in its true form.

number 1, sorry for posting in a thread for a movie i have not seen.

number 2, NOBODY cares where you get your movies from. it doesnt matter where you download from if you are downloading the same thing.

number 3, the ratings mean nothing because people rate based on the jpg and/or the sample. you need to see the entire movie to rate it, thats why there is a comments section. from the comments you can get an idea who has actually watched the movie and get their opinion. from this thread i can see only 2 of the people to post have actually seen the entire rip. the only way to get true ratings would be to eliminate the JPG's and convince every release group to stop doing samples.

number 4, there ARE rules and this is in violation of the rules being a 3 CD release. those complaints are completely valid. i wouldnt say the release should or shouldnt be nuked for it (thats a scene matter) but it should loose points for being to big.

Maybe i am missing something here ,but i thought this forum was all about discussing the quality of releases???.
i think that we are missing the point with any arguments that arise over the amount of cd`s that a particular release requires??
surley the fact that a movie is free to download and the cost of a cd is around 20 pence UK ??so if my maths are right thats 60 pence UK to download and record to disc and watch a movie that is only just released at the movie theatres,and would cost around 4 pounds UK to watch if you went to see it by yourself ????
Lets forget about how many discs a film needs and get back to the quality and revel in the fact thats its free

If you think this forum should be locked up and made '1337 only' then make your own damn forum, cos we're open to everyone who wishes to post, as long as they have the common sense and curtosy to post with manners and respect for the other users.

what the hell are u all thinking? It;s svcd damn u cant put 120 mins on 2 cds unless u want bad audio or some shit like that. You would be lucky to fit 110 mins on 2 discs and it look good.
