XXX State of the Union *PROPER* *SVCD* - TELECINE - TUN

Not much difference between saosins and this. First the sound is much better. Second the picture is just a bit sharper. Burnt it to DVD looks really good. If u have saosins not really no point getting this apart from sound. Saosins had full credits this dont.

Great job tun

::| EDITED POST |::
Seeing TUN members dont like me saying stuff bad about their release & register just to flame

Short & Simple : SAOSiN's copy wasnt missing 10 minutes of the movie , SAOSiN's copy wasnt out of sync.

This Copy is the exact same as SAOSiN's a few days ago , just minus the glitch at the 40 minute mark. If you have SAOSiN's copy already and it *doesnt* freeze around the 40 minute mark (only glitch) , (or) your watching it on your favorite movie player other then PowerDVD ... there is no need for TUN's release.

Only time SAOSiN's copy will messup is if you try to convert it to DVD (authorizing it) that will cause the missing of 10 mins on encode, you try playing in PowerDVD media player (it freezes) , or the odd odd standalone player (it freezes) . As far as regular standalone it only glitches.

As for quality rating, check XXX2 SAOSiN thread

Hope this post was informant and more to the point for you TUN members out there. ;/

IRC dude, the SOASIN release wasnt missing 10 mins, but the glitch caused the movie to look like it was missing 10 mins. I would also prefer not to have a glitch that causes the audio to go "ever so slightly" out of sync.
So the PROPER is valid, but its not really a strong argument. But as far as SOASIN go, I cant believe they accused MoF/Tun/Meteor of stealing their audio on Hostage, lol, that just makes me laugh. I love the joke in the nfo comparing SOASIN to Justin Timberlake "Crying a River".

IRC_Moviefan:

A general problem in a release makes justice for a proper, so i don't understand why you start trying to convince ppl that the proper wasn't needed.

There was a glitch ie. there was an error. According to scene rules the releases should be without errors therefore a proper is allowed.

So PLEASE STOP talking about stuff you don't know anything about. this is like the 10th thread i'm telling this to you. Don't talk about stuff you don't understand.

:: grow up. Its not you place to tell others what they do or do not understand. Post on the quality and that is it. Understand? - 404

So.... you would rather see people giving incorrect information here.... i see....nice board...i just told him not to make conclusions.... instead to judge the quality of the video and audio.

Posted by Wanderer22 on 05-05-2005 11:18 PM:

Good point about standalone vs PC playback.

Not sure if it really necessitated a Proper... even if people were having a lot of problems, a repack by SAOSiN would have fixed it easily enough. The fact that they didn't means it was probably because of the standalone thing.. that the film plays just fine if viewed the way it's supposed to be. That, and they were probably a mite upset at the whole telesync/telecine argument.

Well, since this is the same source, does that mean it's a TS?

Interesting that TUN's sample is, coincidentally, the same scene were SAOSiN's glitch was.

Pebosjan:

Well that's how ******* works and then suddently tomorrow you find it unnuked and then nuked and then unnuked according to what the lame nukers finds fit each day.

And with that i meant you can't trust *******

Posted by joeydownload on 05-05-2005 11:39 PM:

WELL SAID IN THE NFO TUN , IM HAVING THAT!

Posted by overlord---57 on 05-05-2005 11:43 PM:

EDIT:

overlord---57 , it was nuked everywhere it counted for invalid proper

well actually it was nuked everywhere where ppl followed ******* which is just a piece of crap managed by mostly lesser sites.

But yes i agree that its to let ppl know what you think about the release. but its not to make conclusions on how its made etc. when you don't have technical proof. that's just pure immaturity.

But if you just stop making conclusions i wouldn't be such a pain in the butt i just hate when ppl talk about stuff they don't know much about

Ohh come on!

TUN's proper reasons:
1) SAOSiN's wasnt missing 10 minutes
2) SAOSiN's copy wasnt outta sync
3) Yes theres a glitch 40 min mark but it doesnt cause it to

IS right! No sync issues, Nothing missing, and a little ass glitch that disturbed the video for about .005 sec. WOW it killed us alive! FUCK people be phappy that we got the damn film so fast, so sweet (I guess i could say).

quote:
There was a glitch ie. there was an error. According to scene rules the releases should be without errors therefore a proper is allowed

The Glitch was NOTHING! TS and CAMs atthat rate should get propered! But for TC please. It was basically nothing wrong with the shit! TS/CAM have Worse sound and video.. we should proper them up too then to get a Better audio and pic from them. Because the problem on that TC was sooo bad that people here have have no problems apparently.

I guess SOASIN would have fix the glitch IF it made an ERROR or REAL problem but they noticed nothing was wrong so fuck it TUN apparently just wants to find a reason to say.. HERE is our release! We fixed that tiny ass video glitch that had no effect to the film! BUT we know are shit is better so waste your unlimited/limited bandwith on us and make our "special" release of xXx 2 look good.

I think if anything TUN should have worked on another video and released another title.

Posted by directv on 05-05-2005 11:54 PM:

there was a glitch? beats me. wish they could have gotten House of Wax TC instead. That would be so hot!

*note to those who are gonna burn this release: burn cd1 using the bin file, the cue file is incomplete

not much different video or audio wise then saosins' release. The glitch was barely noticable to me and didn't really warrant a "proper" as mentioned. Saosins' did have the credits tho so stick with that release if you have it.

V-8
A-8
M-6 too predictable, too corny, sequels generally suck

and I wish you lamers would quit flaming each other and just comment on the damn movie for once ... evident by only 2 actual ratings in this thread (now 3) and 10+ posts. Grow up kiddies!

Talking with a pal online he got a version that was SAOSIN that was missed the shot of Cube getting in the cop car and driving off but I got a version that didn't have the missing. So apparently depending your source for the film... you may have it complete and sweet or a version needed a NUKE.

... you'll gotta watch your source for stuff apparently. I still found that pointless as I found it WHOLE from my source.

Posted by vcdman on 05-06-2005 03:15 AM:

Soasins version was fine except for a split second squeal in the audio...the voices didnt even look like they were out of sync afterwards...so all the people that are bitchin about a split second hiccup..GET OVER IT...it does nothing to the scene...
