divx files
after i get a divx movie i convert it with vso divx to dvd. before i do that the picture looks good and clear but after i convert it it looks a little fuzzy and blury. So is it the old crap in crap out issue or is it the program that i am using is not any good , please help thank you. P.S. i am burning with copy dvd.
if you start off with a fuzzy source, your going to end up with an even fuzzier file..re-encoding also reduces the quality.

If picture looks good as DIVX and convert it to DVD format it shouldnt lose quality, as you are not compressing it (ie not 'lossy compression).
Probably the program settings... or the resolution on the TV?
Does the vid. look hazy when playing it on PC or hazy when playing it on the TV?
