Subs on SVCD with dvdplayer?
I have a dvdplayer that supports the wellknown subtitleformats as *.srt and *.sub. So when I put such a subtitle file with the same name in the same directory of the moviefile, the subtitles play
Now, for .avi no problem. But how do I make the subtitles play with mpeg-2 files.
I have to burn them as SVCD and renaming the subtitle as AVSQ.srt (or something like that
) then the subs don't play on my standalone...
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
Thx
I don't know the specifications of you DVD Player, but most SVCD's require the subtitles to by muxed in with the audio and video tracks.
Try a program like winsubmux.
