Unleashed joined ok but then this happens
Ok what i did was i joined the 2 files using mpeg-vcr and i played it and it was fine
then it went wrong when i converted it by using main concept mpeg encoder
it converterd grand but the pictures went all blocky now and again the audio is fine
anyone have problems with it??
i never botherjoining then reencoding (unless you have a really fussy player)... just use svcd2dvd or dvd patcher to put the svcd onto dvd and patch the header, so the player thinks its playing a compliant dvd.
Takes about 10-15 mins start to finish with svcd2dvd for a 2 disc svcd....
i had a different problem, it all went fine but towards the end of the movie there is a high pitched beep and my recode to dvd stoped there.
It may be your actual dvd player, the high pitch beep and cut off are known issues with some JVC's.
Does the dvd play fine on ur pc?
its the audio same thing happend to me with mindhunters..the video blockyness is caused by the weak ass encoder you use

i got the avi encode of it and used VSO to convert to dvd. quality is excellent and about the same as the svcd
Encoder
Use Cinema Craft Encoder THE BEST encoder this is wat SAOSiN and Centropy Use on there movies just get it registered so there will be no watermarks

I always found VSO to be crap and quicky moved on to better things. CCE SP also gets my vote.
