just got becool and unleashed

everytime i convert it to dvd standard with mainconcept mpeg encoder this happens??

it goes blocky now and again nearly every 20 secs or so.

can anyone help???

no expert but looks like codec problem.... looks bit like its not deinterlaced.....

or i can look like smartass and give B.S saying mpeg encoder using DCT can cause such a thing

blocks have nothing to do with interlacing....but you're probably right about the codec problem...

use VSO DivxToDVD. it never fails with me and ive put about 100 avi's into it. quality is great, takes about 1hr to do average-length movie...you get the idea.
