dvdimage split?
Hi,
Got some dvdimages and would love to watch them. Now is my dvdburner broke (yeah, it can be broke...). And I would like to know how to burn a spitted vobfile to a cdr. Because when I just burn them loose (only the .vob) like a data-cd. My player doesnt want to play them .
Or does there exist a way to just split the image in 3 parts without damaging the menustructure and the subtitles and all that stuff. Or do I just better wait for a new dvdburner
thx
Use DVDx to convert the DVD to SVCD
that's just what I want to avoid , not very hard to reencode the whole thing. But takes sooooo much time just need a fast and temporaly solution till my dvdburner is fixed
thx anyway
well if your not willing to reencode, the only thing i can think of is watch them on the computer. Oh, and well you cant just burn something as a data-cd and expect it to play in your player. It doesnt work like that.
im afraid to say that the only way your going to get them on a cd is to reencode, and theres no way around it, and I know it sucks, but it does take a long time.
if your too impatient, youll just have to make do with watching on your pc, unless its got a tv out socket...
dvd shrink
if there are 2 seperate image files you cant burn them to one dvd-you can to 2 but what a pain. htere is a Freeware program called dvd shrink, you can open the seperate dvd image files with this and re encode them into one and will only take about 15 min or less. and if together they are too big for one dvd disc that ok-it will also shrink them for you. i ran into this problem with some tv stuff and it took me awhile to figure out. i hope this is what you were looking for if not then i hope someone gets some use out of this info.
