Star Wars Episode 3 sync issues

Can someone confirm that the sync issues on all 3 discs can be fixed by merging all 3 mpg using TMPGenc? Someone had mentioned this being possible in the forums but no one's confirmed.

I think that even if i could somehow afjust the audio, like cu off a few fraction of a second or add on a few fracitions until i was at least satisfied. but asadlyi dont know hwo to do that, does anyoen else?

if you decide to try it yourself....let us know...i already have a copy of the wp that was fixed but id like to check out the tc if it can be fixed easily...

It would take a while, most likely. M-anal up there is right, you would probably need to cut off a few seconds, instead of shifting in (or would you?).
