Help the lamer, win a prize!
Would someone be able to take the time to explain to me how I go about converting bin/cue files (3 CDs) to a DVD movie to burn on to a single DVD?
Specifically, I'm referring to the TUN release of Star Wars. How do I go about converting the 3 bin/cue CDs to be burned to a single DVD?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I apologize for the extreme newbieness of this, but I've gotta start somewhere. Thanks very, very much in advance.
Cheers!

Yes, beyond the scope of a single thread, especially when there are so many websites dedicated to providing tutorials for the entire process. If you run into snags along the way post them and someone will be able to help. I don't think you'll get anyone willing to type an entire tutorial for a single thread

i,l give it a shot, first open up vcd help ,then delete all cue files, keeping the bin file ,now hit browse and find your bin files, open them one at atime, now hit convert,it should convert to mpeg 2 files ,do this for all three bins, next open canopus procoder,on left select source then choose add ,find first cd and add ,it should pop up,do this for remaing two, next go down to target,it just below source, click add ,mpeg2-dvd-ntsc,then a nnother box shoud pop up go to second line on right and choose destination folder(you should have made one already, next go down to third button on left and hit convert, check convert, and in about three hour to for you shou have a dvd file ,finallyopen up tmpge dvd author select new project,ad all three files one at a time, you can chapter edit cut at this time ,but not necesarry, pick a destination folder, and convert,(it will tell you files to big ,but ingore) when finished open up dvdshrink and compress to appropriate size,4.35,your now ready to rip, total time four hours, i
How about this for a novel approach:
- Buy yourself 3 high-speed CD-RWs.
- Burn CD1 onto the first disc, CD2 to the second, and so on.
- Watch CD1. At the end of CD1, get up off your arse and swap it with CD2!!!!
- Repeat with CD2-CD3.
It's that easy!
And later:
- Download the DVDR version when it is released, and burn to a DVDR disc.
- Now you can overwrite your CD-RWs with the latest TS of Spider-man 3!
use vcdgear to extract the mpgs
burn them to dvd

ok, i have an idea. If they dont post anything else in the next week, ban the mofo.
it has been explained many times, even by me but i use 'VCDEasy' to extract the AVSEQ01 file (the video) from each image then join them together using 'easy video joiner' which makes them all one file, then put that joined file through 'TMPGEnc Plus' and convert. then obviously you author the MPEG2 file in 'TMPGEnc DVD Author' which will make it a set of .vob files which you can then burn onto dvd and voila, you have your movie!
easy
1. run vcd gear on the bins to convert to mpg--
2. convert the mpeg to DIVX using Dr Divx reformatting the size
3. get a dvd player that will play divx!
