The NFO says something along the lines of "Corrupt presents 'Imaginary Heroes'"...

I hope the release is better than their NFO (will re-edit post and put in rating once downloaded).

Nice work!

wtf

the Gag reel glitches and the movie itself isnt even there ? this happen to anyone else

Posted by porco556 on 05-25-2005 11:20 PM:

Ok... This release works good for me... Video is good/really good, dunno how accurate the NFO is regarding the "untouched" part (due to not changing the name from Imaginary Heroes). Either way, looks good whatever it is.

No problems with the movie or the gag reel.

Great job by Corrupt... 10/10 on this release.

Tested on PowerDVD and a Pioneer DV-363

:: EDIT - WOW. These IGN guys are pickier than me. Color looked fine to me, and I did notice a bit of artifacting, but nowhere near as much as these guys claim... Video was softer, but IMO that is because there was almost no edge enhancement... Geez Truth is though, I did increase contrast a touch with PowerDVD when I watched it

Cool

This is a great release from CORRuPT ripped to perfection, nice to see a group that knows what PRE & POST commands are!

For some reason I can't play it on my stand alone. I have a Pioneer 563A. Apparently I think it's been nuked for layer break. For now I think I'll have to rip out just the movie. Until it is patched.

I can't play this one on my standalone either. Well actually, I can but it locks up and won't recover in various places.

Doesn't work on Pioneer 444 either

NFO file appears to be wrong?

Movie and gag reel worked fine. All other features disabled from menus.

Slight jump after 98 mins similar to a layer change. Disc was slow to start up on Pioneer DV-430.

No complaints about picture or sound quality and not a bad movie either.

I'm somewhere in between the peeps this works for and does not work for. It works, but it makes the DVD Player think for a long time. At the menu I hit Play Movie, and it sat ans sat, as I walked up to kick the disk out and microwave it,... it played. Looked and sounded good.

I sure hope that someone makes a fix for this one 'cos it won't play on numerous standalones

Posted by Jassll on 06-02-2005 03:45 PM:

I should of read this thread before starting to download it. Other releases had trouble on my dvd player (not on my computer) and I got new disk type to see if they play any better, so I had to grab a good DVDr release. Hopefully it plays on mine.

Hey now,

The first disc I burned did not work for me. I use DVD Decrypter at 8x.

I burned it again with Nero at 4x and it works. I burned it on both + and - media.

Both formats played fine in my three dvd players, (Sony, Ritek, and Magnavox)

I took it over to my girl's house and we watched it on her Portland DVD player.

I think if you burn it at a slower speed you will get better results.

Just my experiences,

It works AMAZING on my Panasonic dvd player. This is the first time a dvdr actually played without the glitches or jumps. I tried burning it to a Sony DVD-R instead of the DVD+R's and it works 100x better. Movie plays awesome.

But it does take a while to start to play in the begginning like mentioned. Great release.

Movie played fine for me but something about it just kinda hurt my eyes, Like as if the image were refreshing our changing at points or something. It's hard to explain but after watching it for a while I noticed it less.

Can't knock corrupt if it seems this is how the original is.

plays fine here but also noticed long startup!

ok, unfortunately i quoted myself on this one... tested on 4 different pioneer stand alones. 444, 464, 343 and 535. the only one that manages to play it is the 343 and ofcourse... the startup takes a funny path reading different chapters before launching the menu... Com'on internal this one someone!!
