Audio sync is a little better, really don't notice a difference in video but like I always say, I'm spoiled by DVDR!!

Anyway, good job by TUN getting a re-rip out there, give them alot of credit.

The sync issues were hardly noticeable. Still appreciated. Thanks.

Is 1/8 of the movie still cropped out? Its hard to tell without screen shots of the same scene which with my meager knowledge of digital video would take me for ever to figure out.

Posted by ou812 on 05-27-2005 05:53 AM:

It's still out of sync, check disc 3 at 5:55, when Obi and Yoda chat, goes out of sync to the following scene. Goes back into sync around 9:00.

You guys need to watch this before even posting 5 min after it pres

Posted by dead599 on 05-27-2005 07:35 AM:

video\sound quality is exactly the same as the initial release of this by TUN... the only thing that has changed in the *RERIP* is the audio sync issue of cd3, it has been fixed. I've had this release for a while now, burned and looks great on dvd player. Props TUN--

cd3 at 5.55mins is where yoda talks but because its an animated model it may seen out of stnc by 1/100th of a sec but thats all.

I just unrared it, and extracted the mpg with vcdgear. It's clear its out of sync on this spot. Even when Obi talks on these 2 scenes its off close to a second.
