Its cropped, with a bad aspect ratio. Picture is way too dark. Here is before/after picture when i was trying to salvage this release.

Good rip however I have noticed some syncing problems near the end of the film. The video is about 1sec behind the voice.

Overall good rip 9/7/10 (watch it at the cinemas for best experience)

from the beginning of cd2 its out of sync and its same quality as the tun rerip release only differance is tuns is in sync, this is most definatly not

Is this release plagued by those dreaded sync problems too? It looks very nice in all other aspects.

Does this have the Russian or English crawl at the start of the movie?

I know its no big surprise what the beginning text says but it would be nice to be able to read it

Its a nice movie and a nice TC, but i would personally like the whole movie with russian subs so i could use my own subs with black bars, the text from my sub should remove the russians and when there is no sub i would get the whole pic.

Have seen it on the big screen, so I can wait for it.

hmm, first time I've commented in the divx section.

sync probs fixed with xbmc on the fly picture quality ok, not the best of telecines, relatively undefined and no-where near dvd quality. Sound has slight hiss to it but other than that it's fine. Cropping is quite noticable.

All things considered though, considering it's only been out just over a week this is a pretty top notch copy.

v7 - Gamma can be fixed, cropping can't
a5 - Clean, mostly in sync, but MONO
m8 - Still not evil enough
