-- Guess Who *PROPER* - SCREENER - COBRA (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=63235)

Very nice release, COBRA. Audio is solid, and the blurred serial is barely noticeable in most scenes. (Very noticeable in the sample, though ...)

7/9/x

Welp , i already burned CD2 of Wastedtime's copy earlier , luckily they just released ..

Guess.Who.SCREENER.CD1.Repack-Wastedtime

Seeing how i already burned CD2 of Wastedtime's and i would much rather have an unmarked (no blur or black & white scene's as COBRA's copy has) ...

Better Luck Nexttime !

COBRA - 6/8/?
Wastedtime 8/8/?

Just finished watching this release, good release. Some black and white scenes that only last a few seconds and some text before the black and white scenes, nothing bad. No sync problems at all, good quality

not bad quality overall, nothing special. watched it on the TV.

the blurred serial is annoying at first but you ignore it after
a while.

the text lasts for more than a few seconds on screen...then
goes black and white for about 5 seconds. annoying, but
only happens like 3 times through out the film.

video is decent - even off a vhs source, SVCD for screeners
just looks better.

audio is spot on.

movie - pretty damn boring. few funny parts, thats about it.

no idea how Ashton Kutcher continues to work. his movies and
acting just suck.

i couldnt agree more. pixelation is a bad thing to have and this is why i even think cams would look better in svcd

Sweet christ ...

Trying to make a higher resolution video out of the same quality source is not going to result in a higher quality product. It will result in a lower quality product. It will result in more pixelation, not less.

I Believe he meant encoding straight to svcd instead of doing the usua vcd for cams and screeners.

Trying to "reencode" the same source to a higher "quality" format is impossible. Encoding can only result in quality loss.

IT might not necisarily result in more pixels, but it will result in a larger file.

Eitherway, i do agree, svcd for screeners is the way to go.

Eitherway this release has been shown up by
Guess.Who.SCREENER.CD1.Repack-Wastedtime

go for it, tho this is a totally watchable release.

7.7.7

p.s.

if you can't deal with a blurred serial and b/w scenes on a screener, go back to kazaa

that is what i meant. last svcd screener i saw was christmas with the kranks. i thought the svcd was MUCH better than the vcd

::EDIT:: and for the release, wastedtime's was better but this is a close second.
props, cobra

I found it quite blurry the picture and that blurred box in the top right corner was annoying when two ppl where on the screen at one time. Being a 4:3 picture the box sat on the face or forehead of the person to the right all the time.

Had it of been in 16:9 I don't think it'd be an issue for me.

Funny film though. Laughed a lot.
