-- Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith INTERNAL DVDRip XviD - DVDRIP - aAF (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=63272)

Posted by directv on 06-05-2005 01:51 AM:

didn't the movie come out like 3 weeks ago? i'll find the sample later to see the exact quality. this must be a really good telecine, or a legit dvd. but i doubt it.

.:edit:.
video codec: XviD
audio codec: AC3 2 channel at 192 kb/s 48 khz
framerate: 23.976
A/R: 640 x 288 / 2.222 (20:9)

from what i can tell, this rip may be from a *true* dvd. this is better than the TC as it is not so damn dark

Thumbs up

It wont play in Phillips DVP-642 players , also it crashed DiVX player and PowerDVD , also TMPGEnc Plus doesnt recognize it. I think they used a wierd codec like FQM (XViDTV grp) did. Hopefully they release a DVDR.

From what i have seen so far. No Red or Orange tint like the TELECiNE , the words are english (not russian) , its not near as dark as the TC , the crop .. like the TC is also 16:9.

Overall , as mentioned this is an excellent TC or mabey something like TEG gets "unmastered retail" . Either or ... looks and sounds excellent !

Smart by no group name either - 4 weeks in theater and already a retail or semi retail copy online. Not that Mr Lucas isnt already swimming in $

Very sweet release. Definitly NOT the TC. Very clean, very bright, just a little fuzzy, but it's the best release out by far.
Already have this one converted and burned to a DVD (glad i hadn't bothered burning the WP yet).

This is the best release out there by far.

No sync issues, no color issues, no encoding issues. It's damn near perfect.

My only wish is that it wasn't a DVDRip, but a DVD-R.

but it would be less quality than the xvid...he wants the real quality not the encode.

Hi everyone,

This opened up with np in mpc and VDmod, I have the newest xvid codec installed and that could be the reason.

This is very nice , no b/w scenes or warnings or watermarkes of any kind, George is really going to be pissed off now.

vid - 8.7
aud - 9
mov - 8

Nice quality.. 9/9/10

it most be from a dvd source.

Posted by Anno on 06-05-2005 05:01 AM:

Not a TC as anybody with any sense can tell for numerous reasons. you don't even need to analize the actual release quality to know this. The big clue being the secrecy around the NFO/source and lack of group name. You don't have to be a genius to figure out this was obtained from very few source disks within the studio/industry. This meaning.. by naming the source of it would lead almost right to the door of the employee most likly.
Think about it

Best quality you will get up till retail and infact even then the XviD Rip won't be much if at all better. Grab enjoy and be greatfull for the huge risks that some guy has gone to.

9/9/8
I don't normaly rate releases so highly but i think this 1 deserves it.

Posted by Jackfrost on 06-05-2005 05:07 AM:

This looks like they ripped it from the dvdr release of:

Star.Wars.3.Return.of.the.Sith.TC.Digital.Remastered.Internal.READ.NFO.PAL.DVDR-PixelPerfect

Posted by XboxFreak on 06-05-2005 05:29 AM:

This is not a copy of Star.Wars.3.Return.of.the.Sith.TC.Digital.Remastered.Internal.READ.NFO.PAL.DVDR-PixelPerfect

That release was just a re-encode of the TUN TC with Russian intro.

This release has english intro and looks a hell of alot better than the TUN TC or any re-encode of it

Obviously a DVD rip

almost perfect... however, I get the impression the left and right sound channels are reversed. Whenever there's an obvious event occurring on the right side of the screen, I hear the audio coming from the left (and vice versa).

Anyone else get this, or are my channels just reversed? (I'm pretty sure my audio is setup right, as this is the first movie I've experience this on)

Posted by EViL-EWoK on 06-05-2005 07:47 AM:

obv not a dvdrip. its a TC. close enough to a dvdrip to be labeled DVDRip.
Since it is internal the rules are bent

9/9/8

still holy shit nice work

looking at the sample I think if this is a TC it's the best damn TC I've ever seen. I think it is a dvdrip, but what do I know?
