Anyway to remove dubbed voice from audio ?

Hi, i have an xvid file which has russian audio dubbed over the english, is their anyway i can remove the russian and keep the english or just mute out the russian ?

I did think virtualdubmod might be able to sort it out if the audio was in seperate streams but its just 1 stream with russian over english.

Any help is apreciated.

i found a tool that enabled me to remove Gary Barlows voice out of all my Take That records...trying to remember what it was called...thats it..

nope..i just made that up...

well i think we know the file he may have with the dual voice thing(nope i haven't seen it)

hmm i don't think this question is dumb.and i'll admit there's gadizillions about encoding.and what you can/can't do with various progs...that i don't know.ha ha....

at least no one has has mentioned magic wand....

If it was seperate channels (left/right for example) then it would be possible but MIXED? I suppose algorithms and methods do exist for processing the audio to tidy it up, you could probably even squelch out most of the Russian but, nah, it's not really feasible.

(but I still think it was a dumb question )
