8/8/9(for a gore movie)
Nice screener but a big ass counter.
A "must get" for all gore hounds!

*edit* Forgot to say that they packed it as mpeg files instead of bin/cue, but really, only a stupid nuker would care.

MSP

Hey VCDQ'ers, head of the TOETAG Pictures Streetteam here, (TOETAG Pictures are the guys who did the Extremely gory realistic FX in Murder set pieces). If you enjoyed MSP checkout august-underground.com and TOETAGPICTURES.com If you are a fan of extreme gore check out The august underground films (August Underground and August Undergrounds Mordum). And when the Murder set pieces DVD comes out make sure you buy it!!!!! Also If you liked MSP make sure to check out Nick Palumbo's First film NUTBAG.

Rating for the release.

X/X/10 - MSP is a serious horror film that is genuinely frightening. Afterwards you will feel brutalized and violated. IMHO MSP is the cinematic equivalent of being raped... I FUCKING DARE YOU TO WATCH IT!

I Will update when I see the quality of the encode of the VHS Screener. But I know for a fact that it does have a huge timer across the lower right of the screen.

P.S. If any1 is interested in joining the TOETAG Pictures Streetteam please email your most frequently checked email and general area to [email protected].

If You enjoyed Murder Set Pieces Please Support The filmmakers and buy the DVD when it comes out.

Saw an ad for it in Timeout New York but didn't have the time to go- and I finally see this 5 theater limited release here. Good to know people are counting on their releases to be seen- even a screener copy that allows an audience who wouldn't be able to see the movie otherwise have a chance to experience it and even buy the dvd and help support the film.

Movie wasnt bad and copy neither.

If you keep checking Frightflix.com im sure it will be announced when the dvd is coming out. I believe German home video rights have been aquired so at the very least there should be a german release coming out pretty soon.

Murder-Set-Pieces XXX dvd

When the dvd drops it's gonna not only be jam packed with extras which will be XXX, but an alternate ultra-sexually violent and gory cut of the film will also be included. This version will blow away any previous version of Murder-Set-Pieces so think of the screener as a taste of hardcore nasty nihilistic carnage to cum!!!

Video looks good, sound is scratchy and hollow. Kind of reminds me of CAM audio, kind of strange.

8/6/?

Video quality is decent, timers usually don't bother me a great deal but its kinda big. The sound however is horrible, why does it have an 8.0 rating on the main page? It sounds like a bad am radio frequency (scratchy hollowish, very distracting from the dialog). Was looking forward to this film, but i dont think i will ruin it by watching this release all the way through.

6/5 - Video suffered because of the timer, a 5 for audio is being generous.
