Centopy

Hi all i was just wondering how do centropy do there movies ? no that i want to do it or anything, i was watching one of there copys last night and was wondering how the cam stays so still. i know they record the film with a cam in the cinema but how is it so still does the guy just have a realy steady hand ha ha. does any one know how its done ???

yes i would assume they are done. Most of these groups arent big groups its only a few people so if one or two people get busted thats pretty much it.

I noticed the latest release posted on the front page of vcdquality.com doesnt have a group name. Maybe groups will start ripping shit but not taking credit for it, i think that would be a good way to stay low. It would make it alot harder to find out which people are doing the biggest pirate and which do it more often.

They are not DONE, believe me. And I guess that centropy has more than 2 or 3 members...
I think they just stay down for a moment. Or they have no material for releasing. Not unusual that groups don't release for weeks even months. So don't be a negative bastard but always look on the bright side of life...

im not trying to be negative, im just giving my opionon. And my opionon is that they are done....maybe they will release something here and there but i take the fbi's word when they say they shut them down. If they didnt shut them down completly they atleast cripiled them severly.

And in all honestly if there still is anyone left in centropy they are fucking morons if they choose to continue to rip shit, especially under the centropy name.

Any group that does this, no matter what the quality, deserves scene respect to a point. Centropy in general is (was) a good example of a decent, some would say above average, group. Still, if you don't like the quality of a particular rip, then DON'T DLD/WATCH IT! Isn't that what VCDQ is about to begin with? And remember, you pay nothing, short of a internet connection and blank media, for this, so anyone who does bitch deserves to be banned off the internet for life.

How would groups affil on sites if the sites didn't know who they were? For it tow ork, the groups would be labelling their stuff as iND or whatever but everyone would need to know who released it to get an accurate record of the group. No, it really really wouldn't work

For the avg joe, there wouldnt be an issue, because the avg joe doesnt need to keep an accurate record of the group.

Yes its nice to be able to go "oo look, centropy have released a CAM of <subst latest film name>. that should be good quality" but then, isnt that what a sample is for?!? And VCDQuality?

you're right, for the average joe, it wouldn't be an issue, but you clearly don't have any understanding of how the scene works. Sites need to know what groups are so they can decide whether or not to affil them. Bigger sites affil bigger groups. If sites/siteops didn't know which groups were which, it wouldn't work
