movie was okay nice turn around time to get out on DVD

Overall pic quality is good (it says its untouched so it sohuld be) and audio is dvd obviously. So for that I would say 9 for vid (kinda grainy but this may just be the way the dvd is) and 10 for audio (although I haven't watched the entire thing yet.

My only problem with this DVD is some of the extras link to screwed up versions of extras (that were supposedly ripped out according to the nfo). Not a big deal though since the video is untouched so these can't be taking any quality away from that. It's just kind of annoying.

Anyway after getting rid of the menu language selection menu and those screwed up extras, we've got a fairly nice release here. Not R1 obviously but still good enough for this movie IMO.

Video is nice (duh untouched :P) indeed bit grainy sometimes.
Audio is good, DTS would be nice, but dunno if that was on the retail.
Movie sucked

When trying to play this with PowerDVD it crashed btw, so manually openend the vobs with PowerDVD, that went fine. Dunno if it's me or there is something wrong with the dvd...

9/10/7

Posted by Juan on 07-15-2005 05:37 PM:

why do you people give 9's for video thats untouched? how can i get any better? lol 10/10/2 movie was horrible.

Video - 10/10 - its untouched
Audio - 10/10 - sounds great to me
Movie - ?/10

First off, this release is not R1 (I was told R3) because 1) when you first play the dvd you get a menu asking you which language you want to view the main menu in and 2) the title of hte movie (even during the film it says) is xXx: The Next Level...NOT xXx: State of the Union. Why is TGP releasing it as this? Still plays fine in my dvd player though, it is still NTSC.

I just watched the 1st scene and I am loving it so far. Good action.

i hate r3 releases, especially when r1 doesnt come out after them

means that it came from hong kong/malaysia/singapore/etc...
but nothing is wrong with the title

I dont have a problem with the title its just if the movie they ripped has the title of The Next Level why couldn't they label it as that, and even more label it as an R3, so we know. Thats all No big deal though, same movie.

video = 10

audio = 10

movie = 8

The movie imo was pretty good (but thats what movies are all about) opinions. Take the top ten moneys earners in history they might not be liked by all. What some people like others dont. So if you liked it like me good , if you didnt good (thats youre opinion), it makes me laugh when people dis others for rating the films. They are all marked with a personal view in mind.

I kinda liked this more than xXx which I didnt think I would

aslong as it plays and looks good there is no difference between region 1 and region 3. unless of course one has been cut etc. didnt bother with this one as i thought the first one sucked.
