7/7/?

Like said before, has bad AR, the picture is squished horizontally. Luckily i can fix this in XBMC. Other than that, great release, been waiting on a good copy of this for some time, can't wait to see it.

7/9/? - Video would get a 9 if not for bad AR

ok the AR is a little off but this is a fine release and a great film well worth watching

8/10/9

Not perfect for a DVDScreener, but when ur only other choice is a cam, this will do just fine. This was a great movie and the quality for a DVDSCR is quite nice.

Video - 8
Audio - 9
Movie - 10

aspect ratio (4:3, 14:9, 16:9, etc).

and that is the first thing i noticed about this - definitely bad AR.

Picture - 8 (minus AR)
Sound - 8
Movie - 9 (saw it in the theatre)

svcd with 48khz audio ? surely a nuke

Posted by bobbish on 07-14-2005 01:12 PM:

as mentioned, bad AR. their xvid also has bad AR. haven't checked their dvdr. their AR is more like 1.78:1 when IMDB says it's supposed to be 2.35:1 so definately needs to be wider, shrunk vertically.

otherwise pic looks good enough.
..48khz audio...

7/8/9

Posted by fluffinator on 07-14-2005 02:17 PM:

hmm, AR is a little off, but that can be easily fixed, only noticed a few b/w scenes and such, as stated above.

Considering it's this or the cam, and i been waiting on this one i'l lgive it

8/7/?

audio seemed a little hollow on the piece i check, but can't be sure til i run it thru my standalone. Will edit if required.

P.S. to al lthe "noob" questions. Please feel free to post them i nthe appropriate sections, as for this is a release quality thread, and the rules specifically state:
