correcting a squashed picture ?

hi, i had a quick look but couldnt find an answer, maybe some1 here can help....

i have acquired an immensely good dvdr of war of the worlds. only problem is, it is squashed a little vertically, is there an easy way to stretch this out half an inch or so ?

it is an .img file once extracted.

if any1 can suggest a prog, and some brief instructions on how to do it, it would be appreciated

cheers

If you're looking to do this for your standalone, I'm not sure, but editing the IFO may be able to correct the problem. if it's a 4:3 that's being tagged as 16:9, or the opposite, then I think you can change it in the IFO to make it whatever it really should be.

chateau got it right i think, you would have to extract the vobs and ifos from the image file first...get hold of ifo edit and alter the aspect ratio.

Rip the .img file first with isobuster to get your VIDEO_TS folder. Then use IfoAR2WS. Then burn the VIDEO_TS folder.
