That has to be the shittiest rule ever put into the TDX Scene rules.

. Directory name MUST include REGION (NTSC or PAL).
. Non-Complete DVD-9 releases are to be named as: MOVIE.TITLE.YEAR.REGION.DVDR-GROUP

[ NUKED ] ( DVDR )-( Monster.In.Law.DVDR-MPTDVD )-( Reason: must.state.NTSC.or.PAL )
[ NUKED ] ( DVDR )-( The.Island.TC.DVDR-ROYAL )-( Reason: needs.PAL.or.NTSC.label )
[ NUKED ] ( DVDR )-( Sahara.DVDR-aNBc )-( Reason: mislabled )

Wonder which idiot thought of that rule . I mean groups clearly lable in their nfo if its PAL / NTSC , region etc ... nukers are going to nuke cause their too lazy to take 5 seconds to download a 1kb nfo and read it !!!!

They should be thankful that aNBc , ROYAL , MPTDVD even released the damn movie for them to leech outta the !NUKED- folder. I bet if they couldnt leech from NUKED folder they wouldnt nuke it!

Also id like to see any group try and proper on that reason "PROPER REASON - **** didnt put NTSC in their Dirname"

Anyway as for this copy , bit dark as mentioned ... audio drops low now and then , overall very nice and watchable. Thx ROYAL.

I hope these guys and the rest of the groups keep releasing as is and sayin f'*******, lazy nukers and DVDR.RELEASING.STANDARDS.2005

The best picture in a TC that I've ever seen! The audio was pretty good, but was a little choppy. Still VERY watchable. The movie was great! Great job guys!!!

watched this on the TV last night... (widescreen)

the aspect ratio is a hair off.. nothing to complain about tho.

that being said, this is one of the best quality TC's I've seen in a LONG time. Video was sharp, colors great and no bitrate issues in high motion scenes.

audio was perfect.

movie was suprisingly entertaining.. didn't expect much. The blonde in it is smokin.

Put this on last night and was hooked......watched it on a 36" pixel plus and it looked great, it is the best TC I have seen, audio was acceptable, the video as near dvd as you can get .....the film was predictable but never the less excellent.....

V:9.5
A:8.0
M:9.5

This is excellent! One of the best TC's I've seen. Its the type of film you need a really good release for and this is it. Great effects and Scarlett Johansson, and yeah the film wasn't bad either!

Great release...audio was spot on, I don't know why people were saying the audio was low/hissy? I thought it was as close to DTS as you can get! There was one spot, about 5secs worth, that it goes out of sync, when they get back to the guys house and his girlfriend is leaning over them and talking to them, her lips don't match the audio for that 5secs. Other than that, sync is perfect.

As for the video, aspect ratio was wrong, as always. Reels are anamorphic: 2.35:1, not widescreen: 16:9, they have this encoded as 16:9, which is wrong, the picture is slightly stretched vertically.

It's a simple adjustment in MPC but on a set top dvd player impossible to fix unless you re-encode.

Nevertheless, still a very nice release. But groups should start using the correct aspect ratio.

Video: 8 (would have been a 9, but AR is off)
Audio: 9 (spot on! other than the 5secs it is out of sync)
Movie: 8

hmm this is a very good tc but i still fail to see why groups are releasing tc dvdr i admit they are very good but are no way near to being a dvd-r worthy source you cannot turn shit into sugar

This movie was around 2hr 6min without credits (they did include all the credits however), so even so 2hr 6min would've required 3 CD-Rs. Much easier to just release a DVD-R. Makes it much easier when watching on a set top so you don't have to switch cds.

That's just my opinion. You don't like dvd-r? Don't download it. Simple eh?

Posted by scousethief on 08-18-2005 11:10 PM:

so would you download a ts drd-r my point wasnt the media but the source and it would be easier to run 3 cds through dvdlab or some other program and end up with a dvd no swapping disk

Posted by napalmfuzz on 08-19-2005 05:26 PM:

i think we're at the age where cdr is pretty much dated.. everything i grab ends up on dvd-r at this house.. its just easier/nicer

and fuck you pHo for telling me so several years ago

Nices release in a while video wise, especially this soon/

Video is very good, AR is off slightly, and its a tad grainy, but very watchable, and it was only dark on the PC.

Audio wasnt great, dont like Mono, and a tad hissy.

alanisrox69, slightly confused your comments, it has to be encoded as 16:9, its either 16:9 or 4:3, and no one wants 4:3 Letterbox, its just this got a little stretched vertically at some point of the reel to DVD transfer.

How is audio near to DTS in any way, its mono, not 6 channels and sound like crap through a 5.1 system.

8/6/?
