Neversoft loves you if you avoid the Philips.

Asda's sell a good divx player for £39.99,works perfectly for me.

(Model brand is called Dual.)

I have the Philips DVP642. It plays everything I've thrown at it so far except this old ass copy of taxi driver and some anime. I found it on sale at Walmart for $69.99 and upgraded the firmware on once so far.

I'd rather pay a bit more if it's a quality product.
I am not 100% sure if there are players supporting all MPEG4 features like QPEL, GMC, packed bitstream, etc.......

I think there's a new chip on the market that supports all MPEG4 features but as I said, I'm not sure.

i read that some japansese company has just released an update for one of their dvd players that makes it compat with divx6, not that it really matters, that is if i never gets used.

holy crap that dvd player link actually allows anime subs to be viewed...

time to throw out the dvp-642 and move to that one!
