Superb movie. Really glad they kept the Thai track as 5.1. Been waiting for this since 2003. Will post a review later when I've watched it again.

Great movie, one of the best I've seen this year. Hard to believe that he does all those stunts himself. Awesome.

Release is good. From the few rars that I looked at it looks like there isn't a straight english sub, more a couple of subs for the hearing impaired. I don't need [shrieks!] or [hits floor!] in the subs to tell me what's going on. I may be wrong on that though.


Video - 9 (looks a tad grainy, might be how it is)

Audio - 10 (cool 5.1)

Watched this all the way through now. Can confirm it is NOT edited. Yay! But as has already been pointed out, the english subtitles are for the hard of hearing, so you get a load of extra stuff that you wouldn't usually want to see, such as 'techno' coming on the screen during the fight scenes, and 'oof' and 'grunts' etc.

Picture quality and audio are absolutely top notch. One scene near the end is a bit dark but overall they've done a great job

Has anyone whos has seen the R3 version confirm something please,

I just previewed a random rar, and unfortunately it was a non dialogue scene, with jumping about trees, ended with the subs saying "All Speaking in Thai"

Is the pic quality and sound better on this, compared to the R3 one as i imagine those subs would annoy me after a bit.

Sure seems like a downsampled ver of this great movie?? very grainy indeed. The Mandarin release seems much clearer but it does have subs only? Take ur pic ??

As you can guess, I really like this movie. To answer your question, Redemption1980, I do have both versions, and from my opinion, I think this version actually has better video. Just my opinion.

V: 8 - kinda grainy, but then again it's not a large production...
A: 8 - Not a fan of reading stuff, would rather have an english dub.

I'll watch this as soon as it finshes as I've heard many good things about this movie...
