stolen re-encode

Red-Eye SVCD

Supposedly this version is nuked because it is just a stolen Hydro version that has been re-encoded. Too bad if it is true

Stolen ? (refering to nuke) ... Last time i checked Silvers were a dime a dozen. In that Case how come maVen's "Dukes of Hazzard" wasnt nuked for stolen from BaPH (same silver) ! ;p

Same picture litterly as previous CAM copy ... unfortionatly NBP didnt attempt to clean the picture up, they added a diff crop/AR and called it a day. Dark around the edges , some wierd frame rate and flickering , bleeding colors but very watchable like the CAM was. Audio direct is very low and bass is very quiet , looks to be in sync.

maybe i am the only one here but earlier in the day right when it was rls'ed i checked the sample and despite a red flag immediate 'nuke' for a re-encode reason, i was arguing with my comrades that this TS has slightly better audio but still a little hollow and i truly, truly question the direct audio. i also argued that the actual picture in the cam was quite a bit better so it's kinda like a double-edged sword. but a) it wasn't like the sound in the cam was/is -that- bad PLUS b) it's 1-disc; half the bw.

of course i was just judging off sample of this "TS" rls b/c i didn't actually get it since i was satisfied with the cam after watching the sample for this rls.

the CAM:

v: 9 (for a 1-disc cam? anything less would be insane)
a: 7.5 (although not direct it's definately good and all but too many cam's have worse sound)
m: still haven't finished.

this TS rls:

v: 6.5 tops
a: 8.0
m: see above

Picture is the exact same as the cam release and audio is 10 times better. This is definately the release to get. I could not watch the cam release because the audio was too bad and too much hiss I could care less about nukes. I get what looks and sounds the best. These groups are taking the time fix these releases up, more power too them

movie itself was a bit weak but well worth the leech
saw the cam on the tele and got this one to check out anything i may have missed the first go round

Video quality is same as cam apart from diffrent AR, but that might just be me.
Audio is alot better than cam.

even if they've used another source to make it... big deal, as long as they're making a better release and sharing it... thats all that should matter, right? I watched a bit of the cam version, but when this was up for grabs, i got it....

Audio: 7
Movie: 8 - I thought this movie was actually pretty good... good storyline and i'm sure they werent working with a big time budget, cuz I didnt even hear about the movie til a week ago.

Nuke aside,

Video 6 - as far as SVCD is concerned, dark areas seem darker than previous encode of the same source.

Audio 7 - a bit clearer than the last release.

Movie 6 - Way too predictable for my liking. Not the movie I was expecting to see.

Personally i dont care if it's stolen. If they can make something better from a previous rls;..then why not? We will get a better goodie

But imho this rls aint that good. Video and audio is to bad for this movie.

meh, the video is honestly no better than the CAM....but the again the CAM wasnt bad, so id say this is worth the download, especially becuase the audio sounds pretty good. anyhow, so far, this is the best release imo
