This doesnt look anything close to a TELECiNE source

Picture , like all the rest of NBP's *TC's* , blurry , grainy and dark. Sound has a big hollow in the audio almost like a heavily filtered CAM.

Russian Torrent they got it from even says "TELESYNC"

Video isn't bad but audio isn't direct. Sounds like it was recored from a Drive-in FM source. Alittle better than cam audio but for sure not direct audio.

So I bet that is where they are getting their audio sources is from a drive-in.

Who knows...who cares...it's all free and it's better than others are doing right now (including myself) so it's appreciated.

video maybe is russian.TS but there is no rule that a TC has to have direct input or DTS audio

uk retail date isnt long off so might aswel wait until then to watch. if it was like the island in terms of quality i would grab this and not bother with retail, but as this has filtered cam audio (i think) then i wont bother.

as a tc:

colours arent the best.same goes for the sound. as stated the retail is fast approaching so it would prob be better to wait.

This is a very nice CAM/TS..but TC are strait in the TC machine, just check the credits, they are slightly tilted


Video is nice but bright in some parts and dark in others.

this couldve been an svcd ts... their wasnt one before... why? i give props to nbp rls, cuz they were needed, but a needed rls will get out labeled wrong or right, being internal... this was a needed rls, as many of theirs, with 1 or 2 doubts, but yeah, i will shut up, its a good copy, tc... yes they can be crooked, but they will correct themselves... is this... hmm... well i love the dvdcam if its one, if not... then the tc machine needs to readjust, it seems short of the full WS as many TCs have sound well, once again, not what we used to expect, but par for nbp... 7/6/?

PS - WHY please tell me WHY people rate sound on a tc as 9 or 10 any longer, despite the thought of decoding dd2.0, i doubt it, and if so, they should share the code b4 a problem... but tcs nor ts should get above an 8 unless from a new person who hasnt been weathered, or just a pawn for a group, but ive heard of dd2 being cracked, if so, it wont be long til all knows, unless some1 wants to be greedy..

Definately doesnt look like a TC to me either, but whatever, can't complain for the price.

Although all this speak of the new DTS format has me wondering... My local theatre (in BFE) where I have behind the scenes access to the equipment has their pre-amp outputs as RCA cables going to each of the speakers. Short of cracking the actual encryption on the disc, theoretically isnt it possible to plug something into the rca jacks to record each channel then splice them all back together on the PC to get 5.1? I have no idea if it would work or sound decent, but something I have thought about since our beloved DTS discs went away. I am not offering any services, mearly a question I have had and didnt know where to ask. Forgive me if I am out of line.

Because my dear dimwit as we have said before, that WE RELATE STUFF TO OTHER LIKE SOURCES......so lets say an audio 9 is related to another audio of the tc variety etc etc It's not related to a dts dvd rip

ok dimwit, i rate to what i know, i have been around obviously longer, there is no debate in quality between DTS and a dvd rip, why? TS had Dts less than 8 months ago... tc had dts for a while until recent, i said no audio now deserves a 8 or 9 being a svcd ts or TC, if you disagree... plz release the decoding to DTS 2.0

This movie fucking sucked...the video was dark and bright at the same time..WTF?..the audio was very loud it sounded like canned ass on my tv and my girl who likes these types of movies turned it off after watching half of it because she said it wasnt funny at all i just started playing BF:2 after 10mins because it was bright as hell and the audio sucked ass its hard to explain but im guessing the rating on imdb is like 2.2

not a bad tc.....or is it a ts.......blah blah blah who cares what it is. It has been labeled a telecine so will be judged as such.

Audio - 7 Not bad through standalone

movie - 7 was ok, kids liked it (wasnt meant to be a 71 remake)

From sample... this is almost certainly a TS. That being said, it's an excellent TS. The audio isn't all that great and it looks out of sync to me. Although, that's hard to tell when ur dealing with animated creatures. Anyways, it's definitely watchable. Regardless, my thanks to the release group.

definately a ts, but seems like everything now a days is getting mislabled and being passed off as something better than it should, seems like the trend for now due to groups getting busted and not putting quality stuff like before "the raids"
