Xvid in Adobe Premiere

I was going to use Adobe Premiere with a video I have, and I was goign to put like separate audio in this one spot, when I noticed that Xvid doesn't work with Adobe Premiere for some reason.

What do you guys use to fix sync issues, demux, remux video/audio?

I use VirtualDubMod when working with AVIs.

Easy as shit.
