nice release i checked the sample

picture nice.. 8
sound sounds nice 7 but its in a cave
so that makes it hollow so i dont know if its the cave or if its the theather

anywya
OK i've seen it.. so the rest is my point of view from the complete release

sound HOLLOW>. but due the cave not a pain in the ass.. but the non cave parts well thats annoying.. still very nice

the picture has an angle

the person who shot this was sitting somewhere on the left side

and well ..

its not to dark watchable.. its not a tc.. but not bad at all
the movie it self.. well it stinks.. check aliens ripoff.. once again..

but worth watching.

so pic 7
sound 6
movie 6

ohh 1 more thing.. the aspect ratio changes.. they start at 2.35(or something like that) and change to 1.85..

this happens in the first 5 minutes of the movie .. really wierd and yes its cropped.. quite a lot..

not dark.. even the dark parts are watchable

From Sample :-

Video 8

Audio 6 ( sounds kinda hollow but as said before that could be due to the film being set in a cave )

from full rls:

quality is very good for a ts. this movie looks shite (and most probably is) but ill give it a go now i can get a higher quality copy.

props to fuck,

8/8/?

::EDIT:: this is from the same supplier as SiLVERS by the looks of it. exact same sound quality, same occasional movement, same looking graininess and same color balance. props to them for getting their excellent supply!

it isnt a ts though. i heard verry slight ruffles near the start, and even during the screen gems logo at the start it sounds hollow-ish.

pic is also at an angle. everything (text-wise) is titled up to the right

from the sample:

8/7/dull

Winged monsters in a transylvanian cave.
Horror donĀ“t get much more dull than this. The world needs more powertool horror movies instead of this lame stuff.

The Cave

8/6/6

The video is a little grainy when burned on DVD, but there is almost no color bleeding and, most important in this movie, no problem with the black dithering.

Action scenes were a little dark and hard to follow, but not too bad. Not bad at all really.

Detail and outlines remained crisp and visable throughout the movie.

Sound was fine. A little distorted at times, but mostly aces.

I liked the movie. I'm 80% film snob, but 20% lover of mindless action movies. This movie takes the PREDATOR format and plays it pretty well.

Video - 7.5
Audio - 4
Movie - 5

Uh folks, the sound is a CAM source. The sound is NOT direct audio. I guess the group thought they could get away with it because 95% of the movie is filmed in a cave, where the sound echos. The giveaway to it being a cam was that in 1 scene, there was a guy swimming deep underwater. There was no sound in the scene except for the underwater treading of water, and he was the only one in the scene, then all of a sudden, you hear someone stifle a very clear COUGH. You can't COUGH underwater. Then it happens again about 10 minutes after, another cough. They almost got away with it. If it weren't for the cough that occured during the underwater scene, I might not have even noticed it. BUT, if you pay attention in the first 5 minutes of the movie, which is on dry land, you notice a slight tinny sound to their voices. very slight, but there. This is 1 of the best CAM audios I've ever heard on a movie.

I am X, thats just... well silly as all hell. You claim if it wasnt for one cough you wouldnt have noticed it being a cam... yet you gave the audio a 4... I just finished the movie and I thought the audio was nice.... I mean even if its not direct... its great audio. Nothing to complain about... anyhow, I just wanted to come back and rate the movie.

6 - not a bad movie... People think it stinks, but til last week i've never even heard of it... its something to watch. The plot isnt anything amazing, but good action.

Posted by Anno on 09-06-2005 12:01 PM:

Have to laugh at all the peps giving this 7s and 8s for audio when it's so obvious not even direct audio.
Yes it's good cam audio but as this is just another mislabled release by 1 of the growing number of stupid silver release/re-encode groups this deserves nothing more than a 1 for audio.
pics not bad though even if it is just a re-encode.

5/1/3

Plenty of reasons why this should have been nuked but again the nukers show their lack of knowledge and let this 1 slip by instead prefering to concentrate on numbers given out by Gspot etal.

VIDEO: 6
AUDIO: 4
MOVIE: 0

Video is too dark. Not because they're in "The Cave" though.

Audio sounds like it was recorded inside a coffee can.

Movie is the worst I've seen this year. It sucks donkey nuts.
