Just got the sample, looks ok. However, they say the full thing is 138 minutes long in their NFO. Part of the credits cut off, or is IMDB's listing of its runtime too long @ 145 minutes???

edit - meh, then there's the NTSC vs PAL length thing to think of, but would that really account for 5-7 whole minutes. Blah, I'm not doing the math.

edit 2 - now I see a special edition listed as 159 minutes - http://www.dvdanswers.com/index.php...=1450&n=1&burl=

edit 3 - (last one ) Amazon has their length for it listed as 144 min's http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...vd&vi=tech-info

Nah, I'd rather wait and make a rip of my own than waste the bw downloading it if it's not satisfactory.

By all means you can download it though, tell me the results, sweet, thanks

if that's so, then there's something not right, because RC3 DVDs are NTSC but the xvid dvdrip has 25 fps, which suggests it's from a PAL source..

Haven't got it but yet but the maths are so simple you really need to get your brain checked :-P

24/25 * 144 = ~138mins...!!!

Nice rip no qualms here.

Video - Good stuff is indeed retail! Excellent quality throughout, no need for 3CD rls, all the quality is kept bo pixellation or bluriness noticed throughout the entire film. Perhaps could have been a slightly higher video height, but still satisfactory.

Audio - perfect no issues.

Film - as historial epics go this one is up there with Gladiator.....but slightly lets itself down in terms of script and lead role character. Orlando Bloom just doesnt have that "warrior" presence that slugger Russell Crowe does. Nice bit of history though in what is a very interesting period of time.....containing many issues that are still being fought over even today!
