Thats cause all these TC's are in russian audio when NBP gets them , they strip all the audio from russian source and add english audio. If the Audio starts say when the actual movie footage starts and not MGM is , would cause for a silent lion

As for this copy. ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME !!!! (talkin about the crop) NBP finally "didnt" do a 16:9 crop and butcher the screen. Actually looks pretty nice , Not FS and not chopped. Colors seem a bit off from a glance yes but i have never seen this movie before so i cant say if they are/arent. This like all TC's latley is pretty dark , around their faces you get dark shadows, Sound is pretty good and spot on from the bit i seen.

3CD's ... bummer ill get the LRC XViD which is 2.

Seein previous copy was a crappy silver , much needed and watchable release.

7/8/?

..was going to mention that, figured YOU would touch base on it. - I tend to agree though have no actual proof. however if u look closely enough it appears audio might be off very slightly. probably due to afformentioned syncing process. not like old school japanese kung foo or anything and probably wont spoil the flick.

Looks nice enough to me, very clear and bright.
Colours look strange, but it could of been filmed like that.
As for the AR looks like 1:85, whether thats correct or not i dont know

Audio is ok, though still not great, through anything better than a TV.

Film looks kinda strange.

8/7/?

Kinda small sample as well, will prob wait for a DVDR

haha.

The DVDR has the Lion's Roar, though the sound does go dodgy during it.

Prob not important, but thouht id say.

Nice copy, good movie, not great, but enjoyable. Seems like a lot of really outside of the mainstream directors like Gilliam and Cronenberg are doing more mainstream stuff, which is fine, but I hope to see more Brazil and 12 Monkeys type flicks from Gilliam in the future.

Based on TC quality standards
7.5/8/7

Video was okay, but not really great, slightly better than the picture of a really good CAM/TS. The worst part was the Audio, it was hollow and "faded", which made it very hard to appreciate this otherwise fine movie. I don't understand why this had to be made two CDs, for the sub-par quality one CD would've been enough (yeah, I know... scene rules - but shouldn't they apply to DVD Rip releases only?).
