Really Cool Movie

I thought this would be a really cheesy superhero movie that seems to be forming a cliche. But when i saw it in theatres i was surprised. It turned out to be really good. Oh and it still was a little cheesy, but in a good way.
(Not as good as Batman 1 tho )

Too bad its fullscreen. Its a for sure 'pick-up' though.

How is a 141 minute movie, the extras and menu all untouched?

What software are they using to edit the menus?

Looks piss poor to me, even for a FS release.

7/9/9

gibber9583, what exactly was wrong with the PAL release

Posted by Viper400 on 10-05-2005 08:30 PM:

gibber9583 did you even watch the pal release? I thought it was a most excellent rip. Better than this garbage.

Who the hell releases a FS rip anyways?

Posted by gibber9583 on 10-06-2005 12:31 AM:

This isnt the thread for the PAL release...but in response: The annoying anti-pirate intro should have been stripped, also the theatrical trailer should have been stripped..for some reason there was no audio for the trailer? Wouldnt have minded the trailer as much if it had audio...... VQ overall was pretty good for a 141 minute movie. Would still like to see a good NTSC rip done properly

Typically movies of this caliber have an phenomenal rip after a couple of so-so rips. The PAL release is much MUCH better though.

Still waiting for NTSC WS Release...

The movie is awesome, I am sure it will be a cult classic. Best Batman movie to date!!! I loved it! 9/10

i had been trying to hold back and hold back but i just can't anymore.... that PAL WS rls was superb. ok so keeping that anti-piracy deal and other minor things isn't neccessary, but you know what - all but too many groups leave that stuff in. it's really not a big deal. especially for such a long film and especially when the video quality is of such "high calibre" as you said which that PAL rls is. believe me, if any better quality rls comes out as far as the picture is concerned it will be maybe 1, 2, maybe 3% better at the very, very best; meaning you wouldn't even notice it. of course there are exceptions as some people can't watch PAL on NTSC systems without flaws, but anyway..... i'm not flaming anyone or saying anyone's opinion is invalid but rather stating fact.

of course this post would be invalid without the mention of this rls since it is the thread for it. well, it's a slightly below average quality and obviously that's because the encoding was poor (it seems, anyhow) and french audio and such was left in.

this FS rls:

video quality: 8.5
audio quality: 10
movie: 9

WS PAL (so you won't be bothered by me making another post on that long thread, i'll rate it here anyway. mods feel free to delete this part if you want but i feel it's warranted...

video: 9.5
audio: 10
movie: 9

btw, someone mentioned it says it was a dvd shrink rip in the nfo for this FS rls? maybe i'm blind, but i didn't see it. did someone look into the details/code of the vobs or something and maybe it says what encoding program? lol, i don't know. i am just curious where someone got that from.

also wanted to say i'm definately not a comic-book-themed movie fan but Christian Bale is awesome and this movie was pretty damn good i must say. i was very pleasently surprised. also just for the record i've only seen in this 'series' Batman "1" i guess you'd say and Batman Returns. i never did watch the others that came out later, but i do have them on dvd.

p'z

from this nfo... Batman.Begins.2005.REPACK.READNFO.FS.iNTERNAL.NTSC.DVDR-SMiRNoFF

quote:
REPACK: The nukes were true about the DVD Structure.
We didnt notice this untill after that nuke was made.
So this is our repack and hope you find this a much
more enjoyable movie now. After consulting our supplier
we found that he did infact use DVD-Shrink for this
release, everything is still there though. Original
source is DVD9. As for the covers they were not from
original source. They were from a undisclosed source
completely seperate from the supplier. Notice we did
not include them in this repack. We did just reuse the
same source for the repack even though it is a dvd-shrink
its still the same full movie though. A note to all we are
a group dedicated to bring you pre-retail releases
for your enjoyment. Enjoy this release.
