from the sample, the picture is very slightly grainy, but still very good,a counter or watermark has been blured out half way up on the right hand side, the sound seemed perfect,i'm not really sure what bad ar is so i won't comment on that. the movie looks good, watch the sample and you'll know what i mean!!! 9/9.5/9

dont know who has nuked this for A.R. aspect ratio bad as this screener is outputted in anamorphic widescreen , with no black bars fills the 16.9 screen.

audio 8
picture quality 8 blurred out watermark you forget about once you start watching. [COLOR=blue]

sweet release

v 9 (giving a 9 coz of the mint quality, not 10 because of the blurred serial and bad/ar. but hey i can fix the a/r and the serial doesnt bother me)

a 10 (perfect, obvious dvd source)

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

Video: 9
Sound: 10
Movie: 9

Given it's a DVD screener and the best possible quality until the retail (which is far away) and that screeners do often come with signs, property notices, or even b/w scenes there is little to compain, since no one has a clean screener of this evidently.

The AR can be fixed manually as well, so no real problem even here.

One of the most anticipated releases of this year, for sure. You have to love Cronenberg

Audio slips out of sync after 15 minutes or so, otherwise great quality. AR is correctable.
