Just checked the sample - definitely watchable. Quality is what you'd expect from a 1CD TS-XviD.

Sound is great, in sync. 8/10

Video is slightly grainy and slightly dark. Watched on a TV will be fine. 7/10

Haven't seen it yet but plan to soon. I'm sure this will do for a while.

Synch issues

MiSFiTS just re-encoded ORC's Repack of "Doom". It has same last 6 minutes audio problems like ORC's release.

ORC used last 6 min from HYdRO's VCD release which is 29.97 fps (NTSC) and ORC's SVCD is 25 fps (PAL)

So when they attached 6 min of HYdRO's NTSC audio to their PAL SVCD it triggers very nasty audio synch problem and it gets worse toward the end of the segment.

Now MiSFiTS re-encoded ORC's already troubled release into XviD with out knowing that it has big problem imbedded into it.

Shit happens.

good quality but MiSFiTS can't encode properly. i had the same problem with this and the xvid of corpse bride.

in media player classic i got this:

http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/3623/sp32200510272300552ou.jpg

and when you pla the sample, of both this and corpse bride, after around 10 seconds it jitters and slows down then the sound cuts out. ive only had this happen on MiSFiTS releases so i dont know what they use to encode xvid!

it converts to dvd ok with vso or winavi though...

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.
