Video - pretty good for 1cd, but the low bitrate shows up as some blockiness even in a 95 minute movie. Had to fix the brightness too, even before they get to the cave.

Audio - As good as 1cd audio is going to get I guess. I personally can't fathom why anyone would ever encode without AC3, but until the rules change this is what gets released.

Movie - I liked it, but as a movie by the same director as Dog Soldiers I had expectations which this simply didn't live up to. Dog Soldiers took the Aliens premise and applied it to werewolves in a very creative way... The Descent really doesn't do anything new or exciting, and as a horror movie it wasn't that scary either. It's still better than almost all the so-called horror garbage churned out by Hollywood this year though.

Slight blockiness in some of the red-light scenes, but otherwise perfect. I can't believe that so many sites are nuking this movie's retail rips just because there was no USA theater release. Make an exception for such a good movie, eh?

M 9 - This was a great flick, well directed and built up the tension perfectly.

Hope this movie is streaks ahead of Dog Soldiers because that movie is absolutely terrible. Bad special effects, poor acting... etc. Quality of the rip is quite good, judging by the sample. Just gotta get the full movie and see how it is overally () rates
