Good shit... Nice to see the R1's to all my PAL copies are coming in. Replica does a nice job. Good balance between extras (deleted scenes only, costs 280megs, but why not). Movie alone hitting in at just over 4 gigs on the disc. Overall well worth getting this release, or buying (if you are a fan).

Video 8.5/10 - Looked good. Can't complain (and if I do complain the newbies that can't do math will beat me up )

DVD-R 9.5/10 - I am a movie only guy, but this was fine. The deleted scenes cost the video 325kbit/sec... Would have knocked the video to a cool 4300kbit/sec (which is ~8% video quality improvement)...

Great job Replica...

Nicely polished conversion of a delightful movie. No picture problems No dead links in the menu. The surround is as good as you can get with AC-3 and at one point had me running to the front door to greet a non existent visitor but it's the kind of movie you can watch with TV sound and not miss anything important. It also has a director's commentary (not mentioned above).

10/9/9

I figured the NFO does a good job of mentioning it

Actually, not a bad point. Commentary is useless... Could have further helped the bitrate. Starting to wonder if untouched was possible. I'll check out the DVD9 and see
