Just checked sample.
Video is really good and sound is fine but only in stereo. Can't expect much more from a DVD source. Will be the same source as the xvid so will have the same B/W and watermarked scenes. Must say though that for some reason the sample didn't play in powerDVD for me.
About the nuke, yes when played the AR is wrong but this is easily corrected. They haven't included the 16:9 tag in the files. Surely FiCoDVDR or someone can make a patch to correct this issue. I myself will be just extracting the files and using IFOedit to do the work.
EDIT
After checking out the full release, it seems to be only the sample that has an incorrect AR. The full release has some previews which are in 4:3 but the movie itself is correct 16:9, so should be un-nuked.

Patch is out.
the AR looked bad until I extracted the img file and then it played fine in VLC. probably due to the 4:3 previews at he begining.
AR is fine.
