sound is kinda odd.
cuts out alot.
video is pretty good.

Thought i'd give this one a whirl as im a pretty big fan of Asian cinema.....wish i hadn't now.

Video - video is nice, slightly dulled, but there isn't any sort of crop noticeable. Colours hold up well and not much in the way of pixellation anywhere.

Audio - right then, sound has some pretty major issues with it and almost certainly leads me to the assumption that this is a TS not a TC.
- it has a nasty habit of cutting every 5minutes or so, only lasts a second then come back in.
- its hollow as fuck, its a dam good thing i can't speak Chinese and therefore need subtitles, otherwise i wouldn't be able to truly pick up what the actors were saying!
- about 2/3rd's of the way through im almost certain that the "cameraman" begins to mess with the audio jack and all becomes clear sound wise for a minute or so, but its obviously a dodgy connection or something as it soon goes back to being hollow

Movie - dissapointing, as much as Triads are cool etc, and having a film about their 'diplomatic' negotiations is perfectly acceptable, this film has almost a complete lack of any action. There are also far too many characters in this film with codenames.......albeit Fish Head, Big D, Jet.......left me feeling confused.

Watch if you are a real hardcore Asian cinema fan. That pretty much sums it up.
