Video 9/10 - Festive moods bring festive scores No complaints.

DVD-R 10/10 - Well, DC is really useless... But 190megs around it takes wouldn't do all that much for the video... Plus it is the holidays...

Good movie actually. Being the opposite of a rapper, I thought I wasn't going to like it at all... Worth looking at.

:: EDIT: OK, I watched this AGAIN... My friends said the video looked shitty... It is true, the source is definitely not a 10/10 grade video. The film itself is a low budget movie, and that means low budget film in the cameras. The score is based on the encode, not the retail R1 source. The video is very grainy throughout and blurry at times, but that isn't the fault of the encoder, so my score isn't punished because of that fact ::

I know probably no one will read this as it's a very late post...

WoW! VERY impressed with how good the film actually is. It's all but too hard to think of this movie going in that it's an "8 Mile" gimmick and rip-off but it is extremely far from that. Sure there is still similarity but it's not as significant as most would think. I will say that as much as I enjoyed "8 Mile" that this movie was better. Okay, I won't make comparisons anymore.

Hustle & Flow feels like it's masterfully created - Something you'd never expect from an "MTV" film. The fact that the lead character has a phenomenal performance that really completes it, too. The supporting actors do as good of a job as they can but it just can't top the lead.

A solid '9' if not more. I enjoyed it possibly to a 9.5 but that's just because I also enjoy the subject matter of this fim. Great movie!
