This R3 South American DVD? Portugese Audio.... hmmm

I'll check it out... See if theres Spanish Menus.

Wish these groups would just come out and say what region it is, the nfo almost reads a bit purposely deceptive with a few references to "NTSC retail"....geesh, just say R3 guys!

I ment R4... my fault.. anyhow...

After a long 30min download Ive viewed it. This is either...

A) a rental R4 DVD, or
B) menu edited-to-hell hack job.

Either way, this is no way a R1 DVD. The menu vob is only 788 KB. All stills.

Movie pic looks good, NTSC, 16x9, so forth. 8000k max bitrate. 5.1 English audio. So if your in it soley for the movie, get it. If not wait for the R1.

I still havent seen this movie yet, almost tempted, but I think I will wait.

Man I hate to agree with Josh but this looks like a Brazilian rental dvd 100%. Hope someone does R1 then cause no way Im burning this.

Looks and plays fine for me. I'm obviously not as fussy as some ppl on here.

so out of all the posts i take it the video is great and the audio is excellent?

who cares what region it is as long as it plays.

I have nothing against specific Regions, especially in the last few weeks a few Region3 DVD's have looked better than the Region1 versions.

But im more concerned why every copy of this movie that is supposed to be from a proper DVD looks like a good Telecine.

Seriously, if i bought this DVD i would want my money back for video quality that bad.

Redemption1980, I was thinking the same thing. This video looks like a good telecine at that. Lets see if the R1 video is better.

thanks to j. for info comcerning disc orgin. why do gropus lie/they always get busted...

anyway agree with the immortal r80 about the quality vid wise of this release. hmm i don't know guess the source is indeed a retail disc of some sort. but i've done lots of xvid's (yep even those 700mb ones) to dvd r that look *alot* better than this.


but hey no sync problems or anything,so unless you think this title is going to be part of your 'essential collection' you can stop here....

Anyone that says this video isnt good you may need glasses ,the video qualiy on Tubes Rip is fantastic very clear as good as anything rated on here,yes the colors on this dvd arnt totaly normal but its only saturated a little more then normal and not very vivid ! This release is solid. Menu is kinda dull, but I don't care much for that as long as the movie looks good.

Airplane scene near the end of the movie still makes my stomach turn. That's gotta be one of the worst CG scenes i've ever seen in my life.
