From Sample

v7 - Has a watermark of the Disney castle throughout on the right side of the video. Also has a bit of a blur across the top and bottom of the video.

a8 - Sample is clear and in sync, don't know about the rest yet.

m5 - Watched the TS, the kids liked it more than me, as I would have expected.

nuked:invalid.proper.No.Need.to.proper.just.because.7.was.blured.waste

I'll stick with RUSTLERS as they both seem to be the same quality, just that watermark issure.

Good picture and video all round

This rls is a waste. The DVD-R already had the watermark on it so if the #7 actually is a tracking watermark (which seems rather stupid to make it that obvious) than the person responsible for this rls would have already been screwed. I'll stick with the rustlers, stolen or not cause the blur on this is more annoying to me

8/9/8.

.edit watching through the film now after sample and found change over cues (odd for a scr) and also pic does seem to be cropped a decent ammount.

Well some people have stated that this was a wasted proper just because of the 7. That being said, said and said again doesn’t change the fact that this release was not nuked for invalid proper (maybe because it isn’t) I know it was a small reason to do a proper but it is "still a reason". Anyway thanks for the "Superior" release. As for the Disney Logo, It is barely visible on my stand-alone player. The sound is great and the colors are crisp and clear although I did notice a slight motion blur. All in all a great overall release. As for this being a waste because people could just dl the Dvd-R some people don’t have the bandwidth or HD space to dl DVDR's. Personally I dl the XVID's and convert them over to DVD myself. Once again thanks SUPERiOR for a great release.

well thats why you buy a lasonic dvd-7050 for 60 bucks that can play all xvids, is progressive scan, and has an s-video jack. as for this release over the last, i just hope that the supplier doesnt get fucked.

It's been so hard
but I can't let it die
Turn my head up,
looking at the stars
So many years,
I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up
and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

When you ask me, it's a TC...
OK, there's a watermark, but the picture shakes at times... And I think I've seen some burning spots

Anyway, when it's not nukes now, it will never be nuked, so lets assume it's a scr...

For a screener:
v:7
a:8
m:8

Posted by sar on 01-07-2006 08:09 PM:

yes I saw the cig burns too.. and isn't it a bit suspicious that they cropped it to make it 16:9?

Posted by Mr_Grinch on 01-08-2006 01:57 AM:

Likely just a dvd scr that hasn't been cleaned up properly. There've been quite a number before.

Posted by J|ngles on 01-08-2006 06:08 PM:

Definite Nuke

Whoever controls nuking releases isn't doing their job very well, this is an undoubted TC, check the evidence below for reasoning;

Since when did DVD screeners or screeners mention a message from FACT stating that it is illegal to bring cameras or recording equipment into ''this cinema''

http://img367.imageshack.us/img367/4320/capture6rm.jpg

Next is Cig burns, they turn up constantly - i've captured two within a 5 second space;

http://img426.imageshack.us/img426/3268/capture26if.jpg
http://img278.imageshack.us/img278/8230/capture38xi.jpg

As for the pixelation and odd screen colours, that's evident for itself, no way could someone rip a DVD scr this badly.

People need to remember that Telecine isnt just a term for illegal version of movies.

It is the actual process every DVD goes through to get from Film to Digital before it goes onto DVD, and the Cig burn thing means jack shit, strange this is cropped to 1:85:1 though, and being that this is an Anamorphicly filmed movie, then this has to of been cropped at the sides.

This is def a DVD Screener, with average to good video, and great sound albeit 2.0.

8/9/?

this release is excellent

from skimming thru full release:

v 8.5 (only 8.5 coz its quite pixelated for a 2CD release, but its much better than whats already out, plus its less annoying to have the watermark intact rather than a messy blur across it- the proper was pointless)

a 9 (excellent clarity, pity its not 5.1 tho, must be coz its a capture rather than a rip off those cinea encoded dvds)

m ? (it looks odd but ill give it a go)

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

Watched the entire flick, looks and sounds great. the watermark will cease to annoy after a few minutes. It's alpha-blended so it disappears in most scenes.

While there's been some complaining about the labeling of this release, it still looks MUCH better than most TS/TCs. If this truly is a Cinea release that's been captured via analog, then we should all be very pleased by the cappers ability to provide a near-digital quality release using whatever method they did.

V - 8

A - 8

M- 2

Too bad the actual movie sucked royal ass. Plot and execution were simply laughable.

Posted by rellimneb on 01-27-2006 07:27 PM:

Just finished watching this. I have no problem with the water mark. As Toe said for the majority of the movie it is nearly transparent.

V: 8 A little hazy + the cig burn/s

A: 9 Nearly perfect but not 5.1

M: 7 I loved the books, and was dissapointed with how they did many things. The kids just looked so damn goofy.
