Alright I'll give it that this is the best one out so far but this release is horrible sure the picture and sound are really good it when you get into dark part (Which are the hole movie that you can't see anything ) I'm just waiting for a better release...

3/9/6

Posted by CATBOX on 01-16-2006 01:00 PM:

Nice looking CAM. Definitely the best so far. Its not the same source being thrown back at us. It is still slightly cropped, but not bad. The picture is almost fullscreen, but not quite. Colors are good. Smooth in the action scenes with no flashing or ghosting. Sound is a bit hollow, but very nice for a CAM. Its clear, and very understandable. DUPE, or not, thanks for bringing us this better quality version ToF. Oh, and it has a small block logo in the top right of the black bar, but its not annoying.

CATBOX

7.5/8/7

best version to date and an excellent looking CAM, very watchable. Video is good and audio excellent for a CAM

7, 8, 7 (as a CAM)

EDIT - Watched the release in full and it does go out of focus occasionally during the 2nd disk. Looks like the cammer could not leave the focus alone!! Still not a bad release but video a 7 not an 8

Posted by Striped on 01-16-2006 03:03 PM:

not bad but looks interlaced to me.

6
7
8

EDIT: After watching this release I thought the iNTERNAL was better.

Posted by bankai on 01-16-2006 08:53 PM:

this is a good copy for cam in all but u will only get 37 mins of the movie only. and the killing it gets dark n its hard to see but u can change the monitor to make it brighter n see it

Posted by nakid on 01-16-2006 11:37 PM:

descent cam.. no one mentioned the AR issue as well as the interlaced you can see.

Other then those two issues its pretty tight work.

6 = AR and interlaced was gone would be a 8+
7
8 = movie is insane.

Posted by White Rabbit on 01-16-2006 11:38 PM:

excellent cam release

v 8 (THE GOOD - very clear and detailed, sharp, good colors, no vertical cropping at all as cinema borders are still there. THE BAD - bad a/r, interlaced. but neither are a problem if youre good at encoding)

a 8 (excellent for a cam, very loud and clear with no background noise from camera. dont know about audience noise yet though)

m ? (ill watch this release)

thanks ToF for bringing us an excellent cam in beloved SVCD format!

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

Video 5 - Almost unwatchable during some scenes. The good parts are during the dark scenes and there really hard to watch. Looks like camera keeps focusing and its pretty grainy. I would wait for a better release.

Audio 7 - Audio is pretty good for a cam. At times sound is hollow though

Movie 8 - This movie is so crazy!!! Holy Sh**!!!! When a better release comes out im watching it again. This movie will make you think twice about going to Europe LOL.

Nice SVCD CAM ... 7/7/? Good for a cam.

Posted by byr0n on 01-17-2006 09:06 AM:

all in all good rls

v:7
a:6
m:6

Question though on this rls.. On the copy i got every once in a while on the bottom of the screen I noticed a link to a website any 1 else notice this?? or is it just the rls i got?

Posted by Sysyphus on 01-17-2006 04:10 PM:

Video: 7.5
Audio: 7.5
Movie: 8.0

- The video was alright, but since most of the movie was in dark places, it was almost unwatchable. For a CAM, this is still an almost decent release.

- For the most part the audio was fine, but in some parts it was hallow and at one part (cannont name the timemark) it kinda messed up for 2 seconds, not even.

TFW?

Yo whats up with that web addy that shows thruout this shit... http://www.tec-world.com/vtec.htm
ends up there... selling? sketch.

as an SVCD CAM:

5/6/?

Picture looks sharper than any other rls. Although Video does have some interlacing. And what's with the stretched bodies, they could have put more effort into making the AR better. There is also a little watermark on the top right corner that you can't help but look at. I think they encoded with one of those unregistered codecs for mpeg2.

Audio is so and so.

Sure I can encode and correct some of the stuff mentioned but this release judged as is untouched is what the ratings on here should be.

Posted by NoNe23 on 01-18-2006 12:26 AM:

Picture Could have been a bit sharper and the colours are a little bit dull and i got this in XviD My friend Re-encoded it and it lookes realll good without the black lines but ToF did a nice SVCD but will stick to my iNTERNAL XviD

Video-6.5

Audio-6

Movie-7 Lots Of Blood

Stinker could have pre-d a XviD

Angry disappointed

v - 5.5
a - 4.5
m - 9

Well, I was surprised this got over a 6 for quality. I know a lot of it was dark but damn, a little fuzzy. It was just watchable IMHO. I got a way better version in xvid format. It may have been cropped lslightly more but the colors were more crisp and didnt lose focus NEARLY as much as this one. No reason it needed to be nearly 1.6 gigs for the quality. The audio wasnt even direct. You turn it up loud and it gets hard to understand. Great f'in movie though, prolly best thriller/gore movie I've seen since saw II. The plot was excellent.

Nice release, not bad for a cam at all. The link that pops up at the bottom of the screen is annoying though. Film pretty good - definitely watchable.

v - 7
a - 6
m - 8

Good release - nice cam - cheers ToF
