mp3 audio thats such a crime...

guess ill wait for the dvdrip, then buy the eventual 'deluxe' or extended dvd next november...

video however is pretty nice really, though im only judging from 1 rar file. cant tell if theres any watermarks or b&w though... just such a pity about the audio! but i guess you expect that from dvdscr's...

7/2/?

is this nuked?

Hi

i read in another site this is nuked for bad aspact ratio. is there a prob with this release?

Posted by chiv on 02-03-2006 01:12 PM:

personally i always prefer the traditional 640x272 or 608x256 for this type of widescreen media, but some groups seem to like chosing whatever resolution they think fits best, which is fine because technically not all video is exactly the same resolution as far as i know

the res on this film is 624x272 which gives an 2.3 ar, which isn't that far of from 2.375, so its hardly a noticable ar error, id say the group was just being anal about getting the lowest error %... if its a nuke, id say its a stupid nuke by some n00bs...

but still... NO AC3 hehe but yeah anyway, respect to dvl for an otherwise great release, but ill skip this i think

nice release, but for this film im gonna have to dl the dvdr

from a couple of RAR's

v 9 (nice, apparently no b/w, occasional scroller)

a 9 (MP3 rather than 5.1, perhaps one of the reasons why im getting the dvdr)

m 10 (amazing, really liked it)

shit, it takes me about 40 hours to download a full DVDR so this is how much i want this flick on good quality dvd

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

This release has a video Bitrate of 824

You could have a video Bitrate of 790 and ac3 5.1 at 256 kbps on 2 cds.

This release deserves ac3, so on this occasion I'm grabbing the dvdr.

But as always I appreciate all releases so thanks to dvl
