I was " close to downloading this, until i noticed they recoded it with 6 audio channels. 4 Foreign 2 Engish 5.1 & 2.0
Umm no thanks, I bet they could have left untouched video w/o all those audio channels. I think I'll wait to rent this one.

This is a R3, all those audio and sub options.... I'll wait for an R1..
Actually this is the region 1 retail. Ive had a look at the retail cover for it, and it lists all those foreign subs & languages (chinese, thai, korean, etc). Just thought i would clarify that
10/10/10
Grabbed the VHS screener of this a while ago, and while it was great for VHS, this movie deserves to be seen in DVD clarity -- 1/2 of the movie is the story, the other half is the visuals. With Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean working on it, you know it has to be good. (If you're a fan)
Video: 10 - Great DVD rip, does the film justice. No artifacting that I noticed, looks great on my 52"
Audio: 10 - Wonderful audio.
Story: 10 - For a spiritual successor of 'Labyrinth', I had very very high expectations -- I was not disappointed.

I decided to get this for fun. Heard good things and I used to like Labyrinth when I was yonger.
Well, keeping ALL those audio tracks pissed me right off. Especially since I do see some minor issues (it's the plain one color backgrounds that suffer). But 4000 is better than some Replica releases lately So I can't complain too much.
Video 8/10 - Looked fine. Darker movie. My eyes were more focused on the odd visual style used in this movie. Overall I really can't complain.
DVD-R 5/10 - Why keep ALL those audio tracks and strip out the extras!?! Really stupid. I'd understand if they kept extras, then it is a choice, this was just dumb. Almost a gig of audio streams that are never going to be listened to by most people.
Also, they didn't get rid of the DVD restrictions. For example, I can't do random seek in the movie (PowerDVD), just chapter skips. Super minor.
Overall, it's not a bad rip. Could have been SO much better.
I agree with the comments about the audio. Its stupid to include anything but english on a r1 release. movie was pretty killer though.

Now this is a worthy download. Untouched video. Saved me a $7.99 rental
